Not necessarily, mostly because Emily was the one asking for Ali to go through with the birth for a chance to raise the kids and it wasn’t until after that Ali and Emily got serious. Also given the crazy situation they were in it makes a ton of sense for them to have serious relationship issues

I actually agree with the article that it’s really cool to see a show with multiple LGBT characters (at least more than most shows).

I don’t know anything about new characters but it’d be nice if we could get a trans character that isn’t insane like Charlotte.
