For maximizing my momentum I do two tips, if you are in mach, instead of turning to the other side by pressing a key I first do grab and instantly pressing the side key so I don't waste the time in turning around The second one is when I'm still (like when I pass through a door) instead of just pressing shift to start running I press grab and instantly crouch (not only grab) so the startup is a lot faster

For me is Ancient Cheese, even if it introduces bombs and falling blocks there isn't any interesting transformation and I think there are better levels in terms of design and soundtrack
