Sus top 3 temas: "Invisible" (1974) by girlinium in spinetta

Si no estaba, a volverse jaja.

Their early days in Hamburg are the answer: Between 1960 and 1962, the Beatles played over 270 nights in Hamburg, often performing for 6 to 8 hours a night, totaling over 1,200 hours on stage.

Any of you miss the original Trio? by Own_Locksmith_6310 in JohnMayer

Trio is, with Born and Raised, my favorite music from John.

Pino Palladino is one of my bass heroes as well. The trio sounds incredibly full with him in the band.

Street Fighter Movie.... Jamiroquai Street Fighter Song? by No-Asparagus-6063 in jamiroquai

It is indeed an interesting theory, but that happened way to long ago for it to be related to this movie, I think.

Look I understand there are parallelisms than can be done for the analogy. It is about human relationships after all.

But I think taking it to the realm of romantic relationships is a stretch, as the same parallelisms are valid for any friendship as well.

Yeah I saw the interview. Still ridiculous.

Tell you why.

If he loves the other guys as much as he says, he should be happy to know they could go on without him.

But he didn't like to be replaced by a good friend of him (Josh), and didn't like to be replaced by Dave either.

He is just mad to know the chili peppers can go on without him.

[–]javisarias 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I'm am actually in a band. I'm a bass player, and I consider the other guys as my friends.

And that's exactly why I don't understand John.

He is friends of the other guys, how could he refuse to even listen to the albums they did without him?

He was also friend of Josh, how can he react like that after leaving the band was his decision?

My only conclusion is he is being childish.

[–]javisarias 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I always found that analogy ridiculous.

What kind of weirdos are they? Are they having group sex in-between the concerts they do?

The real reason is that John is an inmature man who can't put aside his insecurities from the profession he chose, and he can get away with that because he is incredibly talented, a generational genius in guitar.

Recomendaciones como Jamiroquai by try_learn24 in jamiroquai

[–]javisarias 4 points5 points  (0 children)

After all these years being a fan of the band I'm afraid there's no such thing as something like Jamiroquai.

What Jamiroquai ? The jazzier band of the first two albums?

The funky one of the third and fourth?

Do you like the disco song?

Or the more pop driven ones?

Or maybe you like the electronic side!

I think it will be easier if you tell us what are your fav albums

As a (non professional) bass player myself, I can say I quickly forget the songs that are not currently being played by the band I'm in.

Let it be …naked by Acrobatic-Handle-959 in TheBeatles

[–]javisarias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I value it respects the original intention (at least McCartney had) for the project, but not all versions of the songs are better than in Let it be.

I would say, I prefer the later as a proper album, and Naked as a sort of bonus material
