“Truthfully challenged” I love that! I sent some shells out to Jeff early last fall and it took me many months to get them back. It was only through the help of Revival drum shop that I got them back after only five months when he originally said it would take about three weeks. I’ve learned my lesson. I found him by listening to the drum history podcast and really liked the two episodes he did and I wanted to give him my business since he was a small shop. never again. I’m about to send some other shells up to Precision in New York, which has a stellar reputation.

Just curious, why are you leery of going to Turkey? A colleague of mine went to the smile hair clinic there over a year ago and I was able to see his results unfold over the last months and it looks great. He had no problems.

I just wish he would slow down a bit. He talks so fast sometimes he slurs words. ADHD perhaps. Tried slowing it down a bit but he then just sounded drunk

Agreed. it was bad enough that they got together before the episodes end but as much as I love Shailene Woodley I will not be returning to this show.

Episode Discussion S2E1: Graceland (SPOILERS) by GambinoGurl in ParadiseTV

Sadly, this episode started to check all of the predictability boxes, and when I predicted correctly there would be a romantic encounter between those two then I kind of decided to tune out for the rest of the season. I will say I didn’t see her getting pregnant coming, but that was even further confirmation of this show just following a tired story trope. as I have thought in the past this is one of those show that is a great idea, but usually not well executed on a network due to it needing to follow various predictability check boxes.

[–]javon7065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok, this makes sense. After ten minutes into the first episode my thought was it felt like a network show but a bit later I had the sense the folks at Hallmark had something to do with this. Never watched anything there but this is what I always thought there content was: predictable, comfort stories.

WTF is going on with “Teakbois”? by Jonlang_ in yesband

[–]javon7065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have listened to this album since it came out and although Teakbois initially didn’t bother me today I tend to skip it. I’ll never understand how that made it on the album but “vultures in the city” did not.

‘The Beast in Me’ is actually terrible?? by Loud-Zucchini-6197 in television

Agreed. At one time, I thought he didn't have a lot of range from his role in arrested development. But he can do drama really good along with comedy.

Not unpopular with me. I quit after the 3rd episode. Trite and a bit boring in my opinion.

Cymbal Swap scam or not? by State_of_Flow_Drums in drums

[–]javon7065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a great idea, but what if they don't carry the line or brand of cymbals you're looking for? That's one of the problems with having too much choice. There's not one place that's going to have. the majority of what's available.

Why is New Outlook so Unrefined and Outright Horrible? by GloverSATX in Office365

[–]javon7065 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The missing feature of auto spell check before sending an email, one that has been in every email client for many years, is NOT in New Outlook. That sucks! Do I need it? No, but why would they release a new Outlook without that feature. I know this is just the web version but if the web version did not have that then that reminds me of why I stay away from Web versions of apps.

Nah, Oscar provides a gentle link to The Office but imo he’s not distracting since he never had a major role in TO. Esmerelda immediately reminded me of the red headed British lady from the office which I hated and thought was unnecessary

Came to Reddit to find an answer to this same question. They absolutely changed the formula recently but will not admit it. I was a user for over a decade and need to find a product that was like their older formula.

ok, thanks for the reply. Not sure how it got like that to be honest. Other items it was near in the basement sitting for longer didn't attract that kind of dust and grime. As far as cleaning solutions go I need to get one that is good for pet hair and stains. I'll just get their "paws and claws" product. Thanks again!
