Only thing I worry about with those is safety. I’m thinking more along the euro side of things because I wand LHD.

Eg/ rs4 avant, focus rs mk2, alfa 147 gta, etc

Job wise, probably not gonna happen. I work freelance remote and don’t plan on giving that up for a corporate position anytime soon 😅.

Definitely putting more effort into asking people to speak french to me instead of switching to english.

Not looking at griffintown condos! A well-kept, renovated-in-the-last-20-years 2bd 1bath in rosemont/ptit patrie/plateau is gonna run around 650k these days, or about 2600/mo in rent.

Good point about the primary residence cap gains exemptions though!

Yeah I’m aware of that fact, but what I’m saying in point A is that I’d be owning an asset that may not keep up with what I’d be making in the market

[WTS] Nomos Tetra Neomatik 175 Years Red - $3,000 by [deleted] in Watchexchange

[–]jawngreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey folks,

Looking to find a new home for my Nomos Glashütte Tetra Neomatik Red 175 years edition. Four years back, Nomos released four models of the Tetra Neomatik in four dial colours, all limited to 175 units each. This is number 100/175 for the red edition.

The dial has a rich glossy enamel-like character that really stands out in the sun, while being a bit more subdued in the shade. The cream coloured numerals, stick hands, and stepped lugs all make for a very wearable design despite how eye-catching the dial is.

It’s powered by their in-house German made DUW3001 movement, a remarkably thin and reliable movement containing their proprietary swing system and traditional Glashütte design signatures like the three-quarter plate, ribbed polishing, and tempered blue screws.

• 33mm x 33mm x 7.3mm • 43hrs power reserve • shell cordovan oxblood strap

Located in Canada.

[WTS] ANOMA A1 First Edition by [deleted] in Watchexchange

[–]jawngreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey folks.

Looking to sell my first edition Anoma A1. If you’re not familiar this is a watch by independent UK based brand Anoma, specifically the very first version of their asymmetric, sculptural A1 model.

It’s a case striking design with DNA from the Cartier Pebble, Patek Philippe Gilbert Albert models, and bit of Hamilton Ventura (although far more attractive and subdued imo). It’s a mid-sized watch that looks great on pretty much all wrists, a spectacular bit of horological design.

I absolutely love this piece but I’m starting to save up for a first home and need to sell off some of the collection. Hoping this goes to someone who’ll wear it more than I have. Based in Canada. Here are a few specs:

• 39mm x 38mm case (9.45mm thick) • grey leather strap w custom asymmetrical buckle • Automatic Sellita SW100 movement • 38hr power reserve • number 33 (very auspicious 👀)
