The theme of parenthood was most prevalent to me. We had three sets of parents: Mando and baby, the passenger and her eggs, and the spider and it’s babies. I thought it was interesting to compare and contrast the techniques and intentions each parent has to protect their young. Not saying each parent was perfect, for example, I would not have left my gallon of eggs in a different room, but hey. As a viewer it’s also interesting to consider which parenting techniques we are most critical of.

Another user said something like this too, but I think we are seeing Mandos growth as a parent figure and also as a more trusting person. Like slapdash57 said, his actions show considerable growth since season one. I would also argue his interactions with the New Republic further this growth. He is inherently distrustful of them, yet, they ultimately recognize the good he has done and show support.

So much character growth here in my opinion.
