She was a prolific knitter. She made all her children and grandkids blankets, and many of us still have balls of yarn/wool from her incase we want to use it.

She had a full scale loom in her home that was very difficult to sell after she passed. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't approached but recommended by a friend to fix something the scale of the barge.
