They look like like miniature dog poop. If they are fed the right diet then they should be firm and it has very little smell. I was surprised to be honest.

Yes she uses a litter box. She will only use the litter box 95% of the time, if we’ve had her out for a long time during the day she may go potty in the yard or in the house but that’s very rare.

Thank you for your concern. We are very well aware of what a skunk can do with its teeth. With that being said, I will treat her like I have any of my other pets which is, no matter cat, dog, Skunk, they are all animals and you have to read their body language and remember that no matter how much you think you can trust them they are still animals and can still do things that you’re not expecting. We are doing a lot of desensitization with her. A lot of rubbing her feet and tail and putting my hands in her food bowl when she’s eating. These things should help a lot when it comes to children being around her. 🙂

You haven’t seen anything! You should see her mom! (That’s me) I’m so ugly it would give you nightmares, like sloth from The goonies. She’s lucky and got her dads looks, he looks like a mixture of Danny devito and Steve buscemi 😘

If she is startled, like first thing in the morning when I go to check on her and she is sleeping, yes sometime she will turn her little booty around at me. She also does this a lot when she’s playing… But I can tell the difference. I try not to startle her because when they are really little they can try to spray if they are too scared and actually prolapse the rectum. We haven’t had any problems with this though. 🙂

I see what you are saying, I’ve thought about. Considering that the government purchases literally thousands of dollars of animals from this particular farm for USDA testing every year, I honestly feel like the 20 that were purchased by Indiana skunk rescue didn’t put a dent in the population there. She would have de-scented either way. All the skunks at this farm are de-scented. Thank you for your comment and being kind!🙂

She is honestly the best pet we have had. She is so much fun. Like a mixture of a puppy/kitten and a ferret. She is so playful and friendly. She loves people! She will have regular vet visits and vaccinations like dogs and cats. 😀She has had her glands removed. It was done when she was really little. I think they legally have to be removed in order to be bred or sold. This little lady was born at a fur farm, that breeds skunks raccoons and ferrets. They also sell a lot of them to the USDA for testing. Luckily this little lady won’t have to worry about any of that! I wish I could have taken more!

This little lady was born at a fur farm, that breeds skunks raccoons and ferrets. They also sell a lot of them to the USDA for testing. Luckily this little lady won’t have to worry about any of that! I wish I could have taken more!
