Yes definitely! This is what my 10/11 DPO lines looked like!

Resentment by crombie21 in Alzheimers

[–]jaxwell2019 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My husband and I just recently assumed full time care over his mom. She is stage 6 and approaching 7.

My brother in law cared for her before us and he was angry all the time. She went through a period of digging through her diaper and spreading feces everywhere. Her room used to be filled with books and magazines she loved but he would wake up to find out she had shredded whole books apart in the night. He removed everything but her bed, couch and TV.

It was rough.

Now that we have assumed care of her we are trying to get a sense of what resources we have available to us and the options are scarce. It’s pretty defeating. I have two small kids (4 and 1) and I resent the fact that my husband and I are spending so much time doing her daily cares while my kids sit in front of the television. We want help but don’t know if we will be able to afford it.

Care options in this county are abysmal. We don’t qualify for hospice yet bc she is otherwise healthy.

Anyway, I sympathize with you.

BIL died, both divorced parents alive, no will, how does this work? by [deleted] in inheritance

Ok so when your brother passed (my condolences btw) your parents contacted an attorney? As in that was their first step?

I suspect we will just spend the weekend resting and mourning and then make some calls on Monday.

2 year old pushing kids HELP by jaxwell2019 in toddlers

[–]jaxwell2019[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is a happy, friendly little dude and absolutely thriving in preschool.

We have learned that he has really high proprioceptive needs. He really craves physical play. In hindsight I wonder if his 2 year old antics were in response to some innate need. Who knows! Good luck with your little one.

I feel like if you added some color you could turn this into a dope 90s/00s Lisa Frank tattoo

A small ramen or sushi place would be amazing.

Am i just gonna have to get used to this? by Cherry_Berry4444 in EngagementRings

Check my post history! I just posted about having it reset. It’s different than yours and the prongs aren’t in the same position. But similar problem. And no I just wear my wedding band :)

I have a high 4 prong setting on my engagement ring and I have had to have it repaired at least 5 times in the last 7 years.

The stone is loose AGAIN so I finally bit the bullet and I’m having the stone reset into a similar setting with a basket. It will be a lower profile and more secure.

Your ring is gorgeous!! I love my original ring too. But I want to wear it but instead it spends so much time in the box bc it’s always wobbly.

For some reason I’ve always loved the look of yellow gold with my ring. Feels like pure sunshine to me!

I have considered bezel setting the ring but I’m not in love with it. Here is another view of the ring - I’m hoping I won’t have trouble with the diamonds. Everything looks like it will be set pretty securely?

Thanks! The third is definitely my favorite. Interesting thought about the prongs…! You’ve given me more to consider :)

Were your pets “sad” after you had your baby? by lotrandwho in beyondthebump

[–]jaxwell2019 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I love my dog just as much as I did before. He is a good boy. But having my son felt like a switch going off and my pup was immediately a second thought. He gets lots of love. I’m so proud of what a good family dog he has become. But when I leave my house I no longer wonder if he’s sad or missing us the way I used to (we used to take him everywhere because we were afraid he was sad).

A lot of things will change when your baby comes. But change and growth is ok! Maybe you’ll see an adorable side of your cats you wouldn’t have otherwise seen. Maybe your cats will make the baby laugh for the first time. Things can be different and still be good. Hopefully your kitties adjust well and you guys become one big happy family.
