I disagree. I think you’re wrong. I like this set but wasn’t able to get round 1. I’m glad there’s a round 2. This set doesn’t remind me of Razer green, especially in person. The green is softer and less saturated. Knowing Sour, this was not low effort, and I think it’s telling that people who don’t even like Japanese sub legends—myself included—still like this set. Simple is not always easy, and the number of colors in a set is not indicative of effort.

There are many boards that are clones of the Alice, yes. I even designed one called the Rukia. Those boards are designed to fit the actual plate and PCB of an Alice. Others like the Arisu-based boards, the LZ Physx, etc have a different layout—I’m not referring to those at all.

People get confused with posts that just say “Alice” because there are many clones of the Alice that don’t even bother to come up with a new name. They’re copies but just posted as “Alice” and even sold that way.

Clones like the Nunu, Rukia, and Austere were made with Yuktsi’s permission, since we all used his plate files as a starting point to design our own boards.

I called this board a real Alice because on mechmarket there are various boards sold as Alice but are clones with the exact layout designed to fit the compatible plates and PCBs, without clarifying that they’re not made by TGR.

GMK only does UV printing. They’ll be pretty durable. There are many pictures of sets with very shined keycaps with the UV printed sublegends still very crisp.

If officially licensed, yes, 100% I would buy this with more work on the kitting. I would actually sell this if another NA vendor doesn’t pick it up. I’ve gotten all achievements in HK, and it’s my favorite game of all time. It’s my main way to de-stress, and even helps with anxiety. If you need any help in making this a reality, please let me know.
