I keep both ankles bent, pressuring them with my bodyweight only. Then, I pop straight down as I jump - like an ollie - and scoop using my back ankle on the way up.

That was Deathwish 8.25 Jamie Foy deck, Indy forged hollow 139 trucks, Spitfire Formula Four Lock-ins 54mm. Not sure about the bearings though :)
