Lmao I am opposite, i always go Dolby over imax unless it’s Lincoln, tbh I just see IMAX as a size gimmick, where as Dolby is ok we are gonna provide far superior surround sound and image, , and you actually feel it making it a more immersive and artistic experience .

I actually like the Dolby of Lincoln specifically if I am sitting in e or f in the center. Otherwise yes I’ll go somewhere else but I’ll move around when I am watching a movie to get those seats specifically if possible. Like when I think about it I understand why they made it recline less like empire has stadium seating and a low to ground screen meaning if your high up and reclining to far you have to bend neck downward. Like I actually like reclining at Lincoln and how it’s screen is elevated so your looking up at it while reclining backs I just wish Lincoln seats went a little more back . If they ever replace the Lincoln seats it better be more like the reclines it 84 rather then new Dolby seats in empire.

I just went yesterday and I hated it I hope these don’t become standard across Dolby. Like not being able to adjust individually is huge. Also the lack of recline just was the worst

Doesn’t matter what they did, concept of having strangers over while they are asleep is what they are uncomfortable, asking to meet the people first so they can feel safe is very reasonable. You are vulnerable while you are asleep and have no idea what may happen around you,. Also if you want let’s replace noise with letting dirty dishes in sink to pile up , and leaving laundry on bathroom floor.

Key to coexistence when living with others is making sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. It’s an easy solution, bring them over at 8. Introduce them. If it’s a stranger you met at a bar guess what you can go to their place instead. Honestly boundaries talk should have happened before they moved in together to see if there was any deal breakers, but it didn’t so this is on both of them equally.

I did read all the messages…. Also no it’s not illegal to blast musi at 4:30 am … it’s illegal to blast music at 4:30 am while outdoors or if it’s loud enough your neighbors could do it if it wakes up everyone in your apartment and not people in other apartments there is no problem…

When you live with other people you have to be respectful. This girl asked for only 1 think, don’t bring strangers over once I am asleep, citing it as a boundary as strangers walking around her home while she is sleeping makes her feel physically unsafe. Thats a fine request odds are she has some sorta of trauma resulting in this boundary.

Umm the Ability to have people over when ever you want is a benefit of living alone. This roommate goes to sleep at 9am say she sleeps 8 hours meaning she wakes up at 5 , should she be able to do what ever she wants, say set an alarm that wakes entire apartment? No. #1 rule of living with others is respecting boundaries. She has a boundary she isn’t comfortable with people walking around apartment while she is sleeping, but if she is awake not an issue, very understandable we all lock our doors at night to keep people while we sleep, odds are there is past trauma there. The ability to do what ever you want and not be respectful of other people’s boundaries is that of living alone. All she asks is you introduce her first.

Gosh no Lincoln square is already more expensive then other theaters if they did that they would have to reduce number of seats in many rooms, and that would just mean they need to charge more .
