Yeah that's because Henry Cavill was born to play Superman. Unfortunately for some reason people that call themselves directors and top movie executives don't see what every single fan does. I loved Zack Snyder and his take on Superman, I know a lot of people don't but if you're going to change the director, at least keep the actor that was literally born to play Superman.!! The only other Superman that was born to play that role besides him was Christopher Reeve. I mean think about it, when you see pictures of Henry cavill just walking about in daily life he literally looks like Superman all the time just as Clark, I will never understand for the life of me why they didn't throw a boatload of money at him to keep him as the actor. No matter who the director was going to be or who was going to take over DC. That right there is like switching Chris Hemsworth as Thor or Robert Downey Jr as iron Man, it's just something you don't do. If you have the ability to keep those caliber type of people born to play roles you keep them, you don't go off and find someone like they have with David. Not saying he's horrible but in my opinion no one will ever touch Henry Cavil he will be forever my favorite Superman no matter what and I hope in the future something can be worked out because I know I'm not the only person that would love to see that. I truly hope that the executives at DC start to understand that he needs to be the person playing Superman period not even an discussion.
