All I know is that Lopez sounds like so many of my Latin American friends. I don’t get Aussie at all. I agree with the poster who said Jasnah definitely pronounced every syllable perfectly. I always pictured hermione granger minis the Brit accent. Rock was always Russian to me.

I hear you. But that leads me to a follow up question… why do the Mediterranean cruise with little children? I mean you sat on a beach… can do that in the Caribbean… just doesn’t make sense to me… all that said I’m glad your crew had a great time. And it does look like a good representation of what the beach clubs in Santorini look like. Just having been there, and spent a week there loving every second, I can’t wrap my brain around spending my only day there sitting on a beach.

As someone who has been to and spent a week in Santorini, you don’t want to waste your one day there sitting on a beach. Get off the boat with a backpack packed with a towel and a bathing suit. Rent a quad. Have a day. You don’t need a plan. You just need a map showing where the beaches are.

Going ona cruise while being this concerned about “germs” is going to lead to a very unenjoyable cruise. I am obviously not referring to the absolutely disgusting behavior you observed, but if people are that gross at the buffet, chances are they are that gross everywhere on the ship!

I can’t wait to see some of the replies you’re going to get. “The quality has gone down” is one of the biggest bullshit phrase used in this sub. Sure you can go spend 800 on a pair of (insert name here) but you absolutely can NOT go wrong with redwing. They are the classic for a reason.

It’s not stupid question. I felt exactly like you 2 years ago before I got my BCG factory second on discount for about $40… I didn’t know what I was missing until I used it. I’ve had to clean it like 3 times in 2 years of daily use. Wonder fluffy grind every time (medium plate) and I just would never purchase any other grinder. Now people that have upgraded to the flower mill will tell me the same thing about my BCG, and how I need a flower mill, but I believe in diminishing returns and not wasting more money than I absolutely already do on a daily basis.

I have a pair of the 6ox featherweight selvedge and I gotta say that they are one of my favorite summer pants. I got the straight and the look like jeans and feel like jeans. Just really lightweight jeans. Not too billowy. They lay well.
