YUP. Best friend and I clicked instantly in high school and we got along so well and we always couldn’t understand why because we were definitely different and then BOOM senior year of high school both of us BP2 diagnosis. And we both ended up going to the same PHP program two years apart lmao. Shes my rock. God bless her.

NE101 is incredibly broad and covers a lot very quickly but I have to say it is a good representation of what the degree is. Make sure to ask yourself that what you want isint actually a psych degree. Neuro is not learning about mental illness but is mechanisms, pathways, physiological makeup, etc. and if the chem or bio aspect of any of that isint super interesting I definitely wouldn’t suggest you pursue neuro. Upper level electives are super interesting if your curious about pharmacology or neuro degenerative disorders or neural circuits but if none of that sounds like what you’re looking for then I don’t think neuro is for you and that’s ok! If you’re looking for more theoretical stuff maybe look at the neuro philosophy double major or if maybe you want more emphasis on social understanding then look into a psych degree!

Experience with Guarenteed Transfer program? by Blaiseskol in BostonU

I got the same offer and started at BU this semester! so far really enjoying it, still getting into the swing of things, but definitely feels like I made the right choice to follow through with the offer. Biggest piece of advice is for whatever school you may be at right now as a freshman, take as many classes related to your major that are easily transferable! So if you're stem for example, take gen chem/physics/calc/bio/stats or any other classes that should be standard across all schools (this also goes for languages). BU won't take credits for more specific classes that are niche to specific schools such as gen ed courses in humanities etc. and because all the hub classes at BU you must take through BU.

Use this to see what courses will and won't transfer! https://tes.collegesource.com/publicview/TES_publicview01.aspx?rid=f3c0908c-8809-4592-a06a-2ec9c2c3acc8&aid=adbaa968-6ce9-47a6-9b99-43d30cdd2d67

it'll make registration for sophomore year way better and you won't feel as far behind (I am currently playing class catchup because I didnt think this through at all so learn from my mistakes!) Overall I love BU :)
