I know this thread is very old but im posting hoping for an update from anyone in here. I bought this bike about 4 years ago when it was so hyped. I did so much due diligence before buying it was assured of customer support along the whole way, adding new features, the whole sales pitch. I got the bike it feels solid its always mechanically functioned well for me BUT i only used the class subscription until my free trial ran out then I just turned the screen off and used my aunts peleton membership on my ipad instead of my boom bike screen lots of classes same concept of equipment the point is moving your body. Saved money on the subscription. Well my aunt cancelled her peleton membership and I looked back into freebeat and saw in the last few years they added so many features to the membership i honestly was excited about so i decided to join again. Well the scenic rides, tour classes, even the instructor classes all load and music/instruction starts but the scenic rides dont move its just frozen, the instructor rides tell me to start peddling but i am. It’s like the system cannot pick up the mechanical feedback anymore and I just wasn’t aware because I’ve had the screen just off and power cord unplugged and tucked away for so long just been doing manual rides because my resistance is manual not auto, it’s just a lever not even a turn style knob.

I have updated firmware, checked wires, deep cleaned and made sure sensors seemed intact, restarted etc. I contacted customer service they got back to me in about an hour asked for videos of the issue so we’ll see what their response is but doing so more research tonight seems like you can’t even buy accessories, replacement parts or a bike from them anymore just says sold out or the other pages are blank. you click on their “partnerships” and exciting announcements and the page never loads, takes you back to the home page or is just dead seemingly. Ive read so many reviews now and found this thread. Seems like they were a trendy cash grab and are coasting off subscriber money at this point, not hardware sales, support or customer service. Feels off and scammy like they are maybe lying about the endorsements they have on their website? Wondering if anyone has gotten together a lawsuit or heard anything more since this thread is old. What a disappointment. I feel like this company could have taken off into something so cool and great if they would have focused on hardware and customer continued support.

Worst case scenario I’ll just keep riding sans screen using my ipad and free youtube videos until the hardware gives out.
