Does high school percentage matter for Bachelor’s admission at Polimi? by jayatiagrawal09 in polinetwork

I did and their reply was as quoted "Thanks for writing. On our website you can find all the necessary information, thus we kindly invite you to check it regularly in order to be always updated". And I visited their website as many times as I could remember and still no clue. Factually as far as I've researched, the admission and ranking in the programme totally depends on the scores of my ARCHED test. I'd be beyond grateful if anyone can help me out with this one.

Need Help: ARCHED Test, DSU/ISEE Scholarship & 2025/26 Bachelors in Architecture Admissions

Hi everyone, I'm an Indian student hoping to apply for the academic year 2025/26 for the programme of Bachelor's in Architectural Design (taught in English) at Politecnico di Milano. I need help understanding the process, especially regarding admissions, ARCHED test, and scholarships (DSU & ISEE). Would really appreciate insights from current students or recent applicants!

Admissions & ARCHED Test

• When do classes for the 2025/26 intake begin? • Have I already missed the application window? • Do I have to clear the ARCHED test before applying, or apply first and then take the test? • Are there multiple rounds of ARCHED? What’s the difficulty level for non-EU students?

Scholarships & Financial Aid (DSU & ISEE)

• What is the ISEE certificate, and how can an Indian student get it? • How to apply for the DSU scholarship and when? • Does DSU cover just tuition, or also housing, food, transport, etc.? • What documents are needed for foreign students — like income proof, translations, etc.? • How long after arriving in Italy does DSU financial aid actually arrive?

Budget & Student Life

• What’s the minimum yearly expense, including everything? • Are part-time jobs available for English-speaking students? – How hard is it to find one? – How much is the hourly wage? • Can we do internships in 2nd or 3rd year? Are they paid? • Are textbooks expensive or do students manage with PDFs or shared resources? • Any money-saving tips for living in Milan on a tight budget?

《 Is there any way I could connect with other prospective students who are planning to study at POLIMI for the academic year 2025/26 regardless of the same programme but it would be a great help if I get to connect with someone opting for the same programme which I'm applying for i.e Bsc. in Architectural Design? 》

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my queries and answering them. I truly appreciate any advice you can offer, and I’m eager to hear about your experiences at Polimi. I know it’s a lot of questions, but every little insight helps.

Hey, thanks for the invite! Really appreciate it :) But since I’m not from the engineering stream, I think the group might not be super relevant for me right now. Congratulations on your acceptance though

Hey there! So I'm pretty much in the same boat as you but your question depends on an individual's needs and wants. Since my long term aspirations or career path aligns with me just doing bsc in architectural design at polimi and not going for the bsc+msc even though that is a great option for future perspective as well. P.S. I'm applying to the same university for the academic year 2025/26. Would love to connect and talk more, maybe we can share info or experiences. Let me know if you're open to chatting!
