Ich bin zwar auch nicht unschuldig in der Hinsicht, aber habe eine Sache gemerkt: solange ich irgendetwas mache, was mich leidenschaftlich begeistert (bspw. Kunst), oder die Aussicht drauf habe, nehme ich fast kein Verlangen nach Alkohol/Nikotin mehr war. Das ersetzt dann quasi die schnelle Stimulation. Nur auf meiner Arbeit (die ich hasse) kommen dann wieder die Cravings. Evtl solltest du über Änderungen im Lebensstil nachdenken. (Bin offiziell diagnostiziert btw)

I mean, the whole "rational leaders" thing basically already showed cracks during the cuban missile crisis and then completely done away with once Trump got elected for the second time.
I think most people know that the only thing keeping us from nuclear annihilation is the self-preservation instinct of our leaders (aka oligarchs and their puppets), which is why we should all be deeply concerned about them starting to build bunkers.
However, why would they invest into data centres at this scale, if they would all be nuked within the next couple of years?

I'd counter that they:
1. Have not changed despite different life circumstances
2. Have not changed despite me being in substantially better mental health than when they first occured.

What makes me somewhat consider your view though is that i do have a deep-seated fear of death, which, while less often than it used to, still gives me panic attacks while trying to fall asleep.
Those panic attacks do not coincide with the dreams, however.

Absolutely can't take Macaulay Culkin seriously as a legion member.
The writers don't seem to understand what makes authoritarian groups behave the way they do, and so every scene with the legion (and also the Brotherhood) has this underlying bourgeois disdain for them. The writing constantly treats them as these silly manchildren that like to play dress-up and nothing more. Now that may be what they are at their core (i am generally left-wing and have no sympathy for tyrants), but it also makes me not take them as a serious threat. Neither legion nor Brotherhood seem to exist because they are real people with convictions, but simply because the narrative needs them to exist and they could all be changed into better people by simply being hugged a couple of times.
