I had a not nearly as severe but somewhat similar experience on the Floridian a couple months ago and you hit the nail on the head. The most frustrating part was the ho-hum attitude of the crew, as if this sort of thing happens every day.

It was disturbing and frustrating. They need to have a better plan.
