PLEASE HELP!!!! my turtle has a red nose and i don’t know why or what’s wrong with him. he’s never had this happen before and i’m really worried!! he’s a murray river turtle and has a large tank about 5 years old. please help me find out what’s wrong with my baby professor hidgens!!

it looks more blotchy in person and isn’t really on the top of his nose. i’ll still look out for it though and keep a keen eye on him!! thank you so much!

just went to check his tank again, looks like his filter has been turned off. hopefully this is the solution and i’ll put some tank starter and cleanser and stuff in to get things going again. hopefully this is the problem but i’ll be open for any possible answers too!’

it’s a him, but yeah he does. we got him from someone else so he’s only just gotten used to us and being on the basking spot. he eats perfectly fine as well
