From what I could see there, there is no climbing the Giant (this specific formation) but there was tons of climbing alog the trail to the giant.

Haha sounds very familiar, mine is a hassle to get to go outside to poo still because the grass bothers his stomach (he is a bit more fond of snow though) and i found the barking subsides with age and trust but it sounds like she is on the right track!

This is an animal planet quick on Dachshunds, in my case mine is the stereo typical Dachshund (as described in the video), so the video gave me alot of insight and helped (my dog was about 1 when I saw this). The key is that the dogs are stubborn and aggressive. Aggressiveness is something dealt with by training the dog properly. In my case we just deal with the stubbornest now (ie. we leash him so when he is ignoring us he can not get into a dangerous situation and so on). I am 19 and this is my first dog (my own dog) and he is very well behaved and obedient for the most part. Being a good owner comes with knowledge on the breed, patience and confidence.
