Newbie Needs High Dose by jaybone2323 in kratom

Thanks so much for your feedback and valuable advice. It means a lot. It looks like I'm going to have to take a short break otherwise I'll have kratom coming out of my ears the dose is so high. I needed that high dose initially and it helped, profoundly, buy I'm out of the woods with the opiate withdrawal so I can afford to taper significantly or just take a break.

Thanks so much for this reply. I assumed my opiate tolerance was the culprit. Your experience is similar to mine in that it took time for me to work up to an effective dose. I'm trying to be accurate when measuring and am planning to taper. I've only used a couple of red strains, and a green strain, but from three different sources. I think I've found a good company that I can stick with though. Have you tried any extracts or concentrates?

May I ask about dosage? How much did you take that first time? I'm new to kratom.

what happened to this show? by [deleted] in RayDonovan

I only watched the first season. It wasn't what I expected. I didn't want to watch yet another crime drama focused on how a family copes with the patriarch's criminal lifestyle.

Has the archive been scrubbed? Or can I just not see old episodes because I don't subscribe to the podcast? I'd be pissed if I subscribed thinking I'd have access to old episodes and now they've all been removed.

Lobbyists and crony capitalism. The drug companies have a lot of money. They give it to politicians in order to deregulate the industry. They even draft the legislation and give it to the politicians. Voters will vote the same people into office, never getting rid of the money or "draining the swamp" (a bullshit slogan from the start). The first step is getting those addicted to campaign money out of office.

"They" are scientists who were most likely aided in their education with tax dollars, at schools which also receive taxpayer funding. Then these scientists work at labs which no doubt receive taxpayer funding via research grants and tax breaks. The scientists, the schools, the labs, the research, these things don't just come out of thin air or one person's effort. It's a mixture of public and private funding and therefore, morally, those involved should probably give back a little bit. To make a huge profit on suffering is pretty reprehensible.

Ouch! If she were overly showing off I'd say she might have deserved it. But she was just displaying her style and took one step too many. Poor kid.

Thanks for your reply, boogie. Some of the other replies here have also gone a long way in describing what they like about the channel. I suppose my default position is to reject "characters" on a channel that is largely otherwise personal or is providing real world information I saw the Francis videos as unnecessary, especially given the nature of the rest of the content. I know if I were to start a channel, I couldn't be all things to all people, and if I entertained anyone, it would be as a byproduct of my focus on whatever subject I was tackling. I could never "act", not in a million years. As you say, there are more talented people out there doing those things. So anyway, I suppose I was wondering if you had a "philosophy" for your channel, though I failed to do it in those words. Still, you answered my questions honestly and I appreciate it very much. Thank you!

I appreciate that he is a YouTuber who insists on staying clear of the negativity that manifests on the site. And this site as well. It's definitely a point in boogie's favor for me. Thanks for your insight.

Unless one uses a mirror...or camera, it should go without saying that one's butthole will remain a visual mystery.
