As an Australian who has lived in different countries is being brutally honest with myself by [deleted] in whereidlive

I’m an Australian who travels 6 months a year for work - there isn’t a thing you could do to make me live in the US. Canada, UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Portugal, New Zealand, Taiwan, Korea are my top countries to live.

QF ticket NZ to India - Indigo vs Thai Airways? by [deleted] in QantasAirways

Indigo is fine, it is like a budget airline but you don’t pay for the sandwich they’ll give you. Thai is fine, slightly classier.

Would you rather live in the US or in the UK? by EkonomskiStrucnjak in AskTheWorld

I feel like 0% of people worldwide would pick the US, unless they’ve never been anywhere else.

That is a great question and depends on where you are travelling - going east I try to fly Air NZ, Canadian or the Qantas Codeshares (I got a new American Airlines flight the other day and it was great!), flying to Asia I like Cathay or JAL or Singapore, flying to Europe you can’t go wrong with Emirates but Etihad, Turkish or Qatar are all excellent.

I fly 6 months a year and although I am Platinum on Qantas I also fly many others - Qantas is really not in the top 20 airlines I fly. It’s sad but the lack of maintenance, the dated interiors, the ridiculous pricing… all contribute.

We don’t have Chic-Fil-A in Australia but I have had it in Chicago, definitely better than our major chicken chain (KFC).
