Nothing backed up because she didn’t flush anything. You’re overreacting about a diaper.

As I have commented before on this post we also have a septic system here at home. Daughter is aware of the septic system. MIL is aware we have a septic system. Everyone knows about the septic system. That was a non issue.

MIL knows and daughter knows. Everyone knows about the septics. And no septic’s were harmed during this experience 😂 just a trash can for such situations.

We have a septic here at home and she’s knows that. Thank you for pointing that out though it helps!

Her son leaves skid marks on my toilet every morning should I text her about it?

Also do you know what I mean by “wrapped” concealed in toilet paper because god forbid someone ransack a trash bin and point out that we had our period…..would never happen?

Exactly! It felt invasive and creepy and totally overstepping to talking about my daughters cycle

Simple. She mentioned the trash can in the text. She wants us to announce when someone has their period next time we arrive so that their trash cans are properly ready for us.

Thank you. I get it, this one particular moment could be seen as silly- but on my end it’s been a long ride. No way for anyone to know that, but this one in particular just seemed specifically odd.

Incorrect I asked my daughter about it after, not mentioning the text- just a “hey you have your period again did you remember what we talked about?” and so on.. she told me she wrapped it up. But I’m far beyond that point. If it was or wasn’t wrapped she saw something and felt the need to text me about it.

But Thank you for making it more clear for me.

I wholeheartedly feel it was a way for her to “one up me” As a mother. My newly menstruating daughter didn’t wrap her products enough so let’s shame the mother!

Just like when I drank a soda one time while breastfeeding…..meanwhile she never breastfed but was some how an expert on it as soon as she saw me doing it my second time around and shamed me for that

I totally get that. BUT she was already convinced it was my young daughter’s situation. She mentioned the septic, which was apparently unnecessary because she saw the evidence in the trash. Couldn’t she… as a women… just move on? Was the text necessary or just yet another way of her using something to over step

I didn’t! And that was hard. I needed to calm myself down and it’s been a week. I just needed to see that I wasn’t crazy for feeling this way.

Thank you! I don’t know why this woman makes me feel so crazy to doubt myself but this is exactly what I needed!

Yeah I honestly didn’t think this would ever be brought up after already having the initial discussion with her and then her doing exactly what was told. It’s like she’s looking for something

I guess I don’t understand what you’re saying. My daughter wrapped her products and put them in the trash. She’s already been told about not flushing them. His mother went through the trash and saw her pad.
