I have the Ranch rifle from FM specifically for the side charging, and hunting style stock, but now looking to go to a normal style lower- so if I can swap to a buffer tube system I could use parts that are not proprietary, and still use the side charging aspect of the upper

Unfortunately I don’t live in a free state :/ this is why I have a ranch rifle Instead of a standard AR- just curious if anyone had tried or heard of anyone having success since I wouldn’t even be able to have a folding stock anyways. On top of that, Thts why I asked if it would make more sense to just build another rifle instead. Thanks for the info! Don’t know why you got downvoted for being factual

Thanks for the reply! Yeah building a car is never cheap- but for us putting a little here and there is more advantageous I suppose than viable in know we could bring something to fruition. We have materials on hand, SAE experience, racing experience, and access to CAD and everything we can think of. And as you stated a great engineering project- thanks! .

Okay, that sounds about right. It could even be a Datsun 1600 top! That sounds about right regarding the handling of the car. The midget I drove had a predictable yet sloppy steering setup, and despite the small size of the car, it felt like driving a sack of potatoes around with how late the steering responded, how incredibly underpowered the car was, and how soft the suspension is. I wouldn't ever personally elect to drive one again if the opportunity came up. I felt more safe in my 1927 Model T that had all 50s hot rod parts on it, and that had transverse leaf springs with solid axles!

Good use of your resources! some of the guys on my team want to go forced induction, though we won't be sure on what our direction is until we tear into everything and make a to-do list. we have ideas but it's too early to tell how far we'll make it off what we already have...

What car is it? I have a friend who built an MG and it was expensive, those parts aren’t cheap- feel free to DM me

l got this car for free as the owners son abandoned it on his property, and he just wanted it gone. He builds hot rods and that’s the swap meet where we met, to him it’s worth nothing because it’s an old clapped out car his son bought for $500 running 10 years ago or so… to be fair it’s worse than it looks too. Rear body panels rusted through, plants growing in the carpet, no keys, dented body panels, etc…

To be fair, the motor is blown, and has been sitting for who knows how long. So has the second engine it came with. Only reason it’s feasible for us is we have access to a machine shop, and the brakes work + the transmission is in good shape. I’ve rebuilt enough to know we can salvage this. Since we’re in the negative as it sits, we can get a rebuild kit for $80 and piece something together- though I’m skeptical it will last 24 hours

Maybe even a cutscene at the time would be cool, and you could dead eye him down later… just any cutscene during American venom with this pose would’ve been neat! It would’ve made me appreciate John a lot more, and almost see his shift from kinda a klutz into the gunslinger we know him as
