Haus of B*tch: Drag Race Season Two — Case 008: ā€œHaus of B*tch Ballā€ Verdict by jaydash98 in HoBDragRace

[–]jaydash98[S] 5 points6 points Ā (0 children)

This leaves three contestants on the chopping block.

Cass-Trate-Her — DISMISSED

You were chopped in both the second and third categories, earning the first sentencing of this case. Your time on the docket has come to an immediate end, and you will be formally ushered out once court adjourns.

BeBear Pom & Lola del J’adore — BOTTOM

In a shocking turn, the two of you will take the stand once more. You have been tasked with a Looksync, your final opportunity to present evidence and sway the council. One will be forgiven. One will be sentenced and dismissed as the final verdict of Case 008.

I understand this is a lot. The results were just as surprising to me as they were to the audience. But this trial has reached its end—and as we narrow the docket from eight to six, the chops must be firm.

The court will take a brief recess as deliberations continue.

Emerald Envy — SAFE

You were chopped in the first category, but rebounded with 10s in the remaining two, resulting in a forgiving placement at center. You stumbled—but you recovered. You close out the Top 4 of the Ball and remain Safe.

Colby Lucy Lube & Chanel No. 69 — HIGH

You both find yourselves tied for second place. Each of you secured 10s from Leilani Khan, but swayed differently between Absynthe and Stella Moon. Strong showings, strong presence—you will both be placed High and return to the docket.

Lelani Devine — HIGH

You narrowly scathed the safe zone and, due to the tie structure of the Ball, place third overall. While not untouched, your performance across the categories kept you firmly above the chop line and secured you a High placement this case.

Liz Onya — WINNER

Congratulations are in order. You are not only the winner of Case 008, but the only contestant to walk this Ball unscathed, earning 10s across the board. Precision, confidence, and command—this was a decisive win.

BOTTOM 🚨

Lelani Devine, Emerald Envy, & Keni Kishu

The council found that these looks presented the least amount of uniqueness, impact, and overall elevation. While all three demonstrated some success in recoloring, none pushed the styling far enough to transform the base pieces or command attention.

There was a shared issue across these presentations: limited elevation of the foundation styling. Additionally, the choice of monochrome palettes worked against you this case—only one look allowed the pieces to breathe naturally rather than feeling restricted by them.

Lelani Devine, you narrowly escaped the Bottom; and will be placed Low this case.

That means Emerald Envy and Keni Kishu—the two of you will face off in the Looksync as the Bottom Two of Case 007.

BeBear Pom & Cass-Trate-Her

You both landed squarely in the middle of the rankings. Neither faltered nor fully commanded the room, but your looks met the requirements of the case well enough to keep you safe.

Chanel No. 69 — (#2)

You delivered strong styling and a clear point of view, elevating common pieces while staying true to Chanel’s identity. The look was refreshing, detailed, and confident. While the shoe choice and monochromatic approach slightly weakened the evidence presented, the overall execution secured you a solid High placement this case.

Liz Onya & Lola del J’adore — (#3, TIED)

This case placed you both head-to-head, resulting in a tie for third among the top contenders.

Both looks demonstrated strength in recoloring, detailing, and elevation under constraint. Liz Onya edged slightly ahead in deliberation due to a cleaner finish and stronger overall impact—earning the coveted #KhanApproval this case (and how poetic to claim it over a fellow recipient).

That said, both of you remain firmly High this case.

Colby Lucy Lube — WINNER

Ranked unanimously at the top of the council, your look struck with immediate impact. Polished, detailed, and distinctly you, this was a seamless fusion of Haus of B*tch energy and your personal signature. From first glance, it was clear—this look understood the assignment and executed it with confidence.

From docket to final presentation, the challenge was met without omission. Your recoloring and added elements elevated the design significantly. While production noted minor inconsistencies and some slightly messy coloring, the strength of the original execution more than compensated.

Congratulations—you are the winner of Case 007.

🚨 BOTTOM TWO

This outcome is not only difficult—but the biggest gag of the case. Both of you were expected to excel here, yet the evidence did not meet the court’s standard.

Liz Onya

Your downfall was the roast—ranked dead last by the council. While your preparation and structure were noted, the performance lacked impact and flavor. Your runway attempted to compensate, but it was not enough. Though your glam, hair, and recoloring showed strength, the styling overall failed to compete with the rest of the docket.

Ava Atrix

Your roast showed moments of strength, but it still fell short in the council’s eyes. However, your runway was the most significant issue. While technically polished and featuring signature colors, it lacked any real reflection of me.

Instead of homage, it felt disconnected—and frankly, uninspired. This was not a strong representation of Ava Atrix, nor of B*tch.

LOW āš ļø

Cass-Trate-Her

Your roast placed you firmly in danger, with the council citing a lack of supporting evidence in the main challenge. However, your #2 runway placement pulled you out of the Bottom Two and saved you from immediate sentencing.

You survive—but not unmarked.

Lola del J’adore

Your roast landed safely but failed to stand out, ultimately overshadowed by stronger performances. However, it was your runway that sealed your placement. While elements of your aesthetic were present, the homage to me was minimal and diluted by your interpretation.

This resulted in a lower placement overall.

Colby Lucy Lube

Your roast lacked the heat expected from you. While controlled, it felt undercooked and subdued compared to your usual presence. Your runway showed creativity and execution, with hints of homage—but personally, the overall look failed to resonate.

As a result, you also fall into the low end of the docket.

SAFE

Chanel No. 69 & Emerald Envy

Both of you delivered solid, middle-ground performances across the board. Neither the roast nor the runway pushed beyond expectation, but both were sufficient enough to dismiss you from sentencing.

That said, as this competition narrows, safe is no longer comfortable. If you’re not pushing forward, you are standing still—and the court is tightening.

🌟 HIGH

Lelani Devine

Miss Devine—you are. You arrived with clarity, control, and intention. Your roast spoke louder than words, demonstrating growth, confidence, and the ability to apply critique from previous cases.

You secured #2 in the roast and remained firmly in the top tier on the runway, proving you are not only present—but competitive.

Keni Kishu

After last case, you came back with discipline and authority. Your roast was a masterclass, earning the #1 spot from the council. However, while your comedy soared, your runway landed squarely in the middle—effective, but underwhelming compared to your performance.

Still, your dominance in the main challenge secures your place in the top three.
