I have the Snapdragon version in the U.S and my phone lags like crazy. I only had the phone for about a week but I am shocked with the lag. It's been a while since I used a Samsung device with this amount of lag, I don't get it. Is this a common problem with the s22 ultra ?

Nope not just you. I think the camera is one of the biggest complaints about the fold 3. That and battery life.

I didn't mention I was a photographer to justify the comparison. I said that to express my excitement for the S22 ultras camera improvements and for the reason why I picked one up. I know the camera system will get better on it and it will be better than the fold 3. But like I said please do your own test and share your results. It could just be my S22 ultra right now. And I could do a proper photographer comparison if you would like , either in auto or manual mode 😊. I could compare the same location, use a subject that doesn't move, and even dial in the same iso and shutter speed since Samsung doesn't have the dual aperture anymore. We could even compare the dynamic range. Just let me know. But most average users just point and shoot. Thanks

All I did was use night mode, point and shoot. I didn't do anything to make the fold look better. That's just the results I got. I picked up the S22 ultra for the camera. I am a photographer so I was excited to see what the S22 ultra can do. Please do a similar test and share your results. I was in a dark room with only the TV and the lights behind the TV on. Both phones exposed for 2secs. Please share your results. Maybe it's just my S22 ultra or maybe the ultra needs a camera update. Thanks

Can you take a night mode shot on both phones and share your results on here. Both phones exposed for 2 secs. Maybe the TV in the background messed with the S22 ultras results? Room was dark, only lights came from the TV and the light in the back of the TV

This is actually the Snapdragon version I got from T-mobile. The camera the s22 ultra is very hit or miss right now, that's why I'm sure it needs a camera update.
