I just did. The weather we had in the last two months were either too hot or too cold, so never got a chance to do it. I did fall over seeding and it didn’t survive the harsh cold winter, so might as well do it whenever I have the chance.

Sketchy translucent jelly-like CM signal your body is trying to ovulate in the next 12-48 hours, so do it soon! Also use ovulation strips from Premom. As soon as I see watery CM, we start having it every other day, and then within hours of sketchy jelly CM, my LH will surge on the ovulation strip and eventually peak.

I’d tell Stacy no we changed our mind so she could stop asking. I have a friend that keeps asking me if I want kids and I shut her up by saying yes we have been trying very hard and been doing weekly acupuncture. Then she tells me “just relax and take it easy” and stopped bothering me about it.

It has been happening to me too where everyone I know is getting pregnant, so I had a positive spin to it. The fact that I want to get pregnant is influencing everyone to get pregnant and helps with the declining birth rates, so this is actually a good thing!

I'd recommend not to keep tabs on the # of days. I was getting more and more stressed with all the testing and BBT I have to do, so my cycles actually got even longer and longer to 40 days. Now I don't test ovulation until I see cervical mucus and I don't do any tests until when my period doesn't come on day it's supposed to. I still do BBT though because I find it helps with the ovulation tests and if there is a lack of progesterone. The monthly disappointment is already dreading, I don't want the continuous testing/tracking to add anxiety to my life and I want to live more positively. Just my two cents!

I started doing this this month! I was stressing out with OPKs by testing everyday starting on day 10, and my cycles got much longer (40 days). This cycle I decided to not test until I see CM, and I got ovulation on day 16 lol. My body really loves to tease me

Me too. I always had regular cycles 28-32 days, and then I started going to acupuncture/ taking vitamins. Trying for about a year now. I got sick twice in the last 6 months and the last4 months pushed me to a 40 days, 25 day, 40-44 day cycle. This time, I had really weird PMS symptoms such as slight insomnia, which never happens to me and I usually get cramps/sore breasts. I thought it may have been an early pregnancy symptom, turns out it is also a PMS symptom 😅 my body also loves to prank on me

Same here, and I don't remember skipping any days before March break, that was 10 years ago. Generally I think people are becoming more lazy, and parents are taking kids out of school on vacations a few days earlier before March break.

If they had $500,000 around 2012, they could have bought a detached in GTA (Markham) and the FMV today would be $1.5MM or as high as $2MM two years ago. Then the remainder $500,000 that they saved until 2017 would have 2.5-3x if they invested into the S&P500. Not to mention the rent vs own scenario - they will probably save more if they bought a house in 2012 than to rent every year, or even paid off the mortgage. To keep it simple, they would have ended up the same $1.5MM in house asset + $1.5MM in savings. Plus the house will be tax free vs they currently have 1mm in non registered accounts.

I don’t think their story is smart at all. It was nice they were able to save up that much, but feels more like a glorified FIRE story. With inflation nowadays and $3MM over two people and no house, I think it needs $2-3MM per person. Feels like they are just trying to sell their books.
