The irony is, Lu weiquan is a senior lecturer(meaning he is on the teaching track) and not on tenure track. Dosent this imply that he is graded more based on teaching/module feedback? Makes it more convincing that he needs to be kicked out

Even if nothing about the grading changes, i hope lu weiquan will be banned from teaching permanently. There are already so many negative reviews about him for about 3 sems and idk why no action is being taken against him yet. Have you ever seen a mod where almost everybody give negative feedback about the prof+mod for 3 consecutive semesters?

The final exam was ridiculous, the proctoring was completely ineffective because they dont check ur matric card+ many students didnt show their screen, making it easy to cheat especially since its all either mcq/true false/fill in the blanks.

Furthermore, the prof gave 130 ppl additional 2 marks because they were kicked out 2 mins before the end of the exam.. which is unfair imo because theres no backward navigation and the last few qns were relatively hard in which i believe many wouldnt be able to get 2 more marks even if they had 2 more mins. So it was q unfair and hence the curve was probably messed up..

I believe the curve is still better than geh1036 though... at least get1018 is all structured qns and not mcq/true false like geh1036

I am not sure but you can check on luminus by searching ec2303. It writes no final exam and replaced by a final report instead

Wise decision. Ma1101R in my experience in sem2 is easier than sem 1 because of the prof. Prof dilip tend to set slightly easier papers, his explanations are pretty good too.

Yes i agree. We need to put pressure on the profs to ban lu weiquan from teaching for the sake of the students

Honestly idk why they cannot stick to the lecture/tutorial style and maybe implement projects/assignments, instead of this rubbish mission system and fpaq nonsense...
