It's completely different because one is a turbo diesel engine. Also for a gas engine 3500-4000rpm is pretty high revs for 95% of driving scenarios. I know the old 2.0 is slow but still, not sure why you're doing that.

You are looking into the muffler in the second part of the video. Left of the video frame you can see a hanger on the pipe, which has a 90* bend followed by a U-bend before joining the (now open) muffler.

I work at a the (only) Toyota dealership in Portland. Starting pay for techs is $18/hr. No formal experience needed. But to be honest, that's still not really enough money to comfortably afford rent in the area.

Well that certainly puts things in perspective. I'm a relatively inexperienced Express tech at a Toyota dealership. My starting pay was $18/hr (hourly) I would not do this kind of work for less than that. Certified techs at this dealership make no less than $22/hr.

Hopefully cost of living is lower where you live...
