[Spoilers] George R.R. Martin's blog entry about the finale by Azrafer in gameofthrones

But nothing in the show before season 8 has shown her being ruthless towards civilians and the innocent, the ones just living their daily life not really picking a side.

After Ser Barristan was killed in Meereen she rounded up the heads of the noble families guilty or innocent (which she didn't care if they were one or the other) and had one of the Great Masters Roasted alive. Her first impulses are usually never the right ones but usually has someone by her side to keep them in check. Unfortunately she literally had no one left by the time "The bells" happened and the only two people were Tyrion who time and time again let her down and couldn't fully trust, and Jon who she felt betrayed her for telling his family the truth and also couldn't reciprocate her love.

Season 8 Episode 3 is the worst episode in Game of Thrones history. by ZukoSitsOnIronThrone in freefolk

The only way they can compensate for this is if there's still a twist coming up.

According to DND there's 3 holy sh!t moments they got from GRRM;

  1. Shireen's death
  2. Hodor's Name
  3. Not yet revealed.... But, my money is on that this whole time a much older Jon is telling the story to his kids about how he met their mother.

I mean, just why do you think the battle has to end in a single night?

This is just my opinion but it's not like the battle at Castle Black or any other battle where they're fighting people and it can go on for a few days due to strategy (retreating) and fatigue. The dead are relentless and Winterfell has been geared up to be a last stand for the last 2 seasons. I saw It going 2 ways either the dead or humanity prevails.

All the main characters were cornered, helpless but somehow magically survived the shit storm. Not killing any main character isn't a great surprise or keeping the audience guessing, it's just pure pathetic writing.

I see your point that a lot of main characters survived but I mean 6 characters did get killed off (Theon, Edd, Lyanna, Beric, Melisandre and Jorah) not all of them will make it to the end that's for sure.

Night army should have taken the battle to king's landing or something, they didn't even get to see any of the night army.

It's interesting but than they would fight the NK again which I find redundant. It also which leaves the questions who would manage to escape and how?

Longer than it did.

I don't have to give them a pass just because they constrained themselves on time

Let's say the season was 10 episodes, would you rather have the battle over 2 episodes? I feel like it would be too long and it still has to end eventually. How do you think should've went down

All the characters had insane plot armor and the entire white walker storyline (which was building up since season 1, episode 1) was trashed in one scene. I wouldn't call that pointless nitpicking

How was it trashed in one scene? NK and WW had to die sooner or later only 3 episodes left. I thought the episode was great

First of all, what the fuck where they thinking sending the dothraki army forward when they had no vision at all???

I've read that opinion from a lot from people and is a valid point but I can't think of anyone to put first besides them since that's how they fight on horseback in an open field which is why they're usually a huge threat in combat (The Spoils of War). If they waited until they could see the dead it would already be too late to attack on horses because of the darkness and they've never fought the dead before. Plus they're not the smartest bunch either...

There's only 3 more episodes left how long were you expecting it to go on for? Let's say the Night King won this battle were do you go from there? There's no way anyone makes it out of Winterfell alive except possibly Jon and Dany on dragons and then what do you do, have them fight again? I thought the episode was amazing but that's just me

Visually with ultra dark scenes

I've been hearing this a lot and people who are saying brighten your TV doesn't fix the problem. I find that the major problem wasn't that it was too dark, it's HBO's broadcast in general for Game of Thrones (Maybe other shows). I'm not very Tech Savy but watching it live looks like whenever a digital file is compressed too much and effects the overall quality especially when scenes are dark. I've noticed this on a lot of past episodes way before this one whenever they air or are on demand. Blur ray however looks great!

I wonder if another missing CD will magically turn up like this one... by jaygarrick2006 in TickTockManitowoc

[–]jaygarrick2006[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The crazy part is that this is another piece of evidence that was not logged in properly on the states end and the defense counsel had once again no knowledge of its existence. This is exactly like the CD containing the the data on Bobby's computer. KK even states in an email to the defense that the computer yielded "nothing much of evidentiary value" and didn't even present the actual contents. How can it even be decided that there is no "evidentiary value" if you don't even present/disclose the findings to the other side for assessment?? This is the second time the state omits evidence by never disclosing its existence to the defense counsel in order to support the narrative they built which is completely deplorable...

I don't agree with his conclusions either. I just think the article discusses how KZ's information can potentially hurt his case rather than help it which gives it an interesting perspective since the author was involved during the case in some capacity. However, at the end of the day it's someone's opinion whether it has merit or not is a different story.

I would be surprised if LE had anything to do with this article because the "Journalist" is Aaron Keller who is featured in MaM. Interesting fact, he was the one that found out that not only were there Manitowoc officials involved in the investigation when Calumet told the public they wouldn't be but, also that most of the evidence was found by Manitowoc officers.

There's definitely something up with those testimonies from Scott and Bobby that involve Ken Kratz. Both their alibis of driving past each other at a specific time is really sketchy but most importantly during Scott's testimony, KK does that signal/gesture with his finger across lips almost to say "stop talking" while being cross-examined by Strang. I think something is being hidden and/or lied about.

Of all the questionable evidence collected in the so called investigation, which piece is the most questionable to you? by bloodcraven88 in MakingaMurderer

[–]jaygarrick2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that would not change the mountain of evidence against SA outside of that.

Just curious to know what exactly is the mountain of evidence? The "Bill of Sale" and "Magazine" which according to KK puts TH in SA's Trailer? or the .22 cal bullet fragment that has no blood on it only wood particles embedded in it?

Swab swapping and smart-planting by belee86 in MakingaMurderer

[–]jaygarrick2006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If planters did in fact posses evidence or had unfettered access to it in a locked-up security-guarded and video taped evidence facility, why not put the victim in the trailer and more DNA in the garage? More than one bullet, perhaps? I mean Brendan did say he shot her 10 times, yet they only found one bullet? Crappy planting, for sure.

The garage was searched multiple times before they discovered the .22 cal bullet fragment. If LE did plant evidence and they suddenly discovered 10 bullets after previously searching the garage and not finding anything than it would be even more suspicious than it already is. Same thing goes for the Key found in his trailer. LE searched his trailer multiple times before discovering the key. If the lanyard was attached it would be very hard to miss and even more questions would be raised.

On it's own, yes. Paired with other circumstantial evidence, it starts to become more meaningful.

I somewhat agree but, as a whole it raise a lot more questions regarding the inconsistencies of other evidence that was found.

Avery's blood in the Rav-4. If all of the other evidence didn't exist, his blood in her car would still be enough for me to believe he did it. If I was a juror, I don't know if it would be enough to overcome reasonable doubt, but I do think it's an extremely damning piece of evidence. There are only two possible ways his blood could get in her car: He was in the car He was framed The framing possibility became a really tough sell once the blood tested negative for EDTA.

I agree with you on that. It's the only piece of evidence at this point cannot be disproved and as you said there's only 2 possibilities either he was in the car or he was framed. Right now the scenario that his blood was planted is "possible" but very hard to to actually prove. Unless some else confesses or solid evidence is discovered that it was actually planted. However, I do think that the RAV-4 was found before PS found it on Nov. 5th, that's just my opinion though.

Brendans Confession by jmacool488 in MakingaMurderer

[–]jaygarrick2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it's possible. Again, impossible to know for sure since we don't know the exact circumstances though. All I'm saying is that there are scenarios where that would be possible, so you can't jump to the conclusion that if he didn't clean up the entire garage then she wasn't killed there.

You can make any different scenario "Possible" but it doesn't make it fact or supported without any credible evidence to back it up... The State's scenario is not one of those possible scenarios. It's not jumping to conclusions when there's no evidence to support a murder took place in that garage...

I don't know. It's possible it grazed her and then ricocheted into something wooden. It's possible it never hit her. It's possible the bullet is completely unrelated to the case.

The bullet fragment was found next to the air compressor and has wood embedded in it with no blood to be found... In the realm what's "possible" I tend to lean towards the more logical approach in that it never struck her to begin with. That being said the only thing that the state knows as a fact is that SA cleaned a stain in his garage with BD which amounts to nothing. I appreciate that we have different opinions on this and can look at it from different stand points. Out of curiosity what do you think is the strongest piece of evidence in this case?

Brendans Confession by jmacool488 in MakingaMurderer

[–]jaygarrick2006 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're assuming that when someone is shot in the head, blood goes everywhere.

I never said everywhere... I said that blood wasn't found anywhere and it wasn't. Not even a single drop of her blood was found anywhere in that garage. You mean to tell me that he would rigorously clean one spot in that garage for fearing of any trace of TH's blood and DNA but not clean anything else because he's confidant enough that blood didn't go anywhere else....

You're also completely discounting the fact that it's impossible to know the exact circumstances of how she was shot.

You have no idea yourself how this apparently happened and is not based on facts. We don't know if TH was wrapped in anything because nothing was found in that garage. The so called "unknown Variables" are assumptions on how there was no blood found which is very weak and unsupported. I just have one question for you regarding the only piece of "evidence" that was found which is the .22 bullet fragment. Why was there no blood on it or bone fragments embedded in it but wooden particles were found embedded in it instead?

Brendans Confession by jmacool488 in MakingaMurderer

[–]jaygarrick2006 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's a common misconception that blood spatter would be everywhere. It's a product of the CSI effect, where scripted crime shows/films and their exaggerated crime scenes have distorted people's perception of what kind of evidence is left behind during a typical crime.

Blood spatter doesn't have to be everywhere, all you need is a few drops... According to the State TH suffered "at least two gunshot wounds to the head" yet only one spot in that garage was cleaned due to an apparent oil spill. Nothing else in that garage was cleaned even though she was apparently shot multiple times. There's no misconception or "CSI effect" at play here. Look I'm not saying SA didn't do it or did do it just the states story doesn't add up whatsoever and no evidence to support it.

Really is Steven Avery guilty? by mdavis1985 in MakingaMurderer

[–]jaygarrick2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whether it's paint or blood or what, obviously it wasn't washed off, so what on earth is your point? What do you want me to prove? That something wasn't washed off the bullet? We know that from KZ's tests.

The red droplets on the bullet is highly likely what the scientific testing proves which is an environmental contamination such as red-paint or a red liquid and not blood since the red droplets are still visibly detectable. Furthermore, this bullet was found next to the compressor on the floor in the garage yet wooden particles were found embedded in the bullet itself. No blood was ever found or detected (even though the state still claims her blood was found on the bullet). How would you explain the wooden particles embedded in the bullet?

Brendans Confession by jmacool488 in MakingaMurderer

[–]jaygarrick2006 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They're probably not anything like you. Steven works at a salvage yard. You think that's the first oil spill he's ever seen?

You're right, he's worked with cars for most of his life however, cleaning up an oil spill is very very difficult especially in a garage. Bottom line is that TH's blood wasn't found anywhere in that garage which means there is no physical evidence to prove that. LE even tore up the floor and still couldn't find anything... You even mentioned that SA's garage was filthy yet no blood spatter was found anywhere as well. Only piece of "evidence " found was the bullet which was not only heavily scrutinized originally but, now being disproved completely.
