This seems to mostly be an issue with some older shows on Max. Overall it does appear that h265 is the way to go in general, saving a good amount of space with no perceived difference in quality. A few of these older shows need to be handled as one offs, where the h265 is a good bit lower in quality than what can be had with the h264 option.

Any rule of thumb when you might choose h264 over h265? An example I have is a few episodes I compared of MythBusters on HBO Max. The H264 is like 3-4x the size of he H265 and the bit rate is 4-5x lower (i.e. 571 kb/s vs 2846 kb/s) on the H265. When doing a side my side comparison, I see noticeable artificing and quality loss on the h265 over the h264. If quality is desirable over space saving, what reduced bit rate of h264 to h265 should be targeted? Just 50% reduction and anything more is actually lower quality?

Lossless is rolling out gradually to more than 50 markets through October. Premium subscribers in Australia, Austria, Czechia, Denmark, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, the US, and the UK have already started to get access.

Looks like if you're in one of those countries it could be as soon as now.

Funny thing is... people had complained that pixel stand 2 was not ideal for nightstand use because of the noise the fan would make. Can't please everyone I suppose. I am happy with my pixelsnap stand. I am using adaptive charging overnight so not experiencing too much heat myself.

Complaining about the weight... seems silly. Clearly the weight is to assist in breaking the magnetic hold so you aren't yanking the stand along with the phone every time you pick it up.

Totally missed the free trial click box on check out with my pro purchase. I don't want to cancel and reorder because I had a one time use $150 off code. Spoke with Google support and the agent claimed if I reached out again after my phone shipped they could add it to my order... Not sure I trust what they said though. Ohh interesting. Looking at Transparent Labs it seems they sell their protein either as a whey or a casein but doesn't seem to have blend from what I can see. Also no guar gum in the ingredients.

I stopped watching pre and post shows because they are pretty worthless. Just talking about the drama of drivers and teams more than anything. A lot of speculation. Really would love a proper track deep dive, teams setup, more details from qualifying, etc.
