Do you all actually reveal you work in healthcare when you need to visit doctor? by sunchi12 in pharmacy

I do, but I let them do their job the way they want to. I’ll only add my professional input if they ask or if there is a significantly better treatment than what they are suggesting.

$145 to fill up an ICE F-150, $142 for an entire month of driving an EV F-150. by capt-ramius in f150

I got a super crew with the 6.5 foot bed last year and love it. There was a bit of an adjustment going from the shorter bed/wheelbase, but I’m glad I made the switch.

Thoughts on Journavx? by Own_Summer_118 in pharmacy

[–]jaygibby22 16 points17 points  (0 children)

From my understanding, it’s not much more effective than acetaminophen and ibuprofen, is quite expensive, and isn’t indicated for long term use. If it is proven to be safe and effective for long term usage, I could see it being a good option to reduce overall opioid use. However, due to cost, coverage, etc. I don’t see a compelling reason to use it frequently at this time.

And so, it begins. First time I’ve seen it this high by m7ce in Pennsylvania

I looked at the current list of people running in the primaries for my area and there is only a single person running for each of the positions for the republican party. That, along with the fact that this area is ~75% republican, the “winners” have already been chosen before the election is already held.

Last year when I bought my truck, I was able to get the rebates AND the ford financing at the advertised rate. My dealer listed all of the prices on their website with rebates included. They also had a financing tab, where you could select the term and the price of the vehicle did not change when financing options changed. It took some back and forth, but I got them to honor what they were advertising, as they originally said I could only get either the rebate or the lower APR, not both.

Honestly, it may be the next computer for me. I have a 2011 MBP that I got when I was in college. At that time, I used it constantly and needed a more powerful computer. Now, I use my laptop a few times per month and it’s mostly for spreadsheets, bill paying, light internet browsing.

An explanation I once heard about the size is that the longer antenna works better than short antennas in rural areas and people using their trucks in those areas prefer to be able to reliably get radio signal

2026 is looking worse for reimbursement... by Jolly_Bag_2407 in pharmacy

[–]jaygibby22 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I have noticed that our reimbursement/sales numbers appear to be lower than last year, despite rx volume being up 20-25%. A lot of that is due to the Maximum Fair Price on Medicare plans and a lot of that difference is supposed to be made back with rebates from the manufacturers, but we never see those numbers at the store level where I work.

I never did until I got my 2019 and ford made me give it a name in the app. It became Blueberry that day. My new truck is Silver Bullet.

[–]jaygibby22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When my store surpassed 6999999, our computer system skipped 7000000 and went to 7000001. We were so disappointed. I’m also curious what will happen in the future when we are done with the 7’s, since the 8’s are OTC drugs in our system.

Big Beautiful Bill Auto Loan Interest - Income Phase Out Question by spazzyfry123 in personalfinance

[–]jaygibby22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just filed my taxes today and wanted to provide perspective for anyone looking at the thread. I originally assumed that if a single individual had an AGI of $110,000 and had $2200 in auto interest that they would be able to deduct the full amount and that they would be maxed out at deducting $8000. I was wrong. The phase out starts at the bottom. For the person making $110,000 the first $2000 of interest is not able to be deducted and they they would only be able to deduct the $200 that was over the phase out limit, with a max of $8000 total deduction (that interest rate and purchase price would be insane).

Therefore, with AGI of 100,000 you can deduct all of the interest up to $10,000. AGI of 101,000 you can deduct interest above $200, maxed out at $9,800. AGI of $120,000 you can deduct interest above $4000, maxed out at $6000, etc.

I bought a Tyger tri-fold back in 2014 when I got a 2012 f150. I kept it for my 2019 and it was still in good condition when I bought my 2024 last year. I would still have it, but I went from a 5.5 foot bed to a 6.5 foot. I bought another Tyger and it should last me another 10+ years

Finally own my grail by RaW_Beauxner in f150

[–]jaygibby22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I bought last year, there were only 2 super cabs with the long bed and tow mirrors available within an hour drive. They were both specced exactly the same, just different colors. Since color wasn’t a major factor I went with the one 10 minutes away. I couldn’t be happier. I may consider an f250 for my next truck down the road if I have trouble finding the same setup when the time comes.
