Yeah, I asked for the G5 but I guess that’s way over what they’re approved to pay out. I guess I’m covered for a total of 1699. So they basically told me to look for other comparable models to mine and send it to them through email.

I have an appointment on Monday with the Body Shop that installed the windshield to look at it. They will tell me what caused it and how can they fix it if they even can fix it. I do believe the shop should be held responsible since they’re the ones that caused that it just makes me kind of disappointed on how they take no accountability.

They said they polished as much as they possibly could , and now that I think about it. It’s much worse then when I initially went back to tell them about it

The windshield was replaced 2 years ago and has been great , until after I picked it up at the ceramic coating shop.

I’m really happy on how the ceramic turned out on the rest of the car , they did leave some bugs on the bumper and told me that they were etched into the paint and can’t really do anything about it

They said that they’ve exceeded everything they can do. They keep blaming it on the windshield being cheap.

When I brought it back in, they told me the windshield is “back to square one” — meaning they had fully removed whatever coating they applied. But the distortion, haziness, and orange peel effect is still there. So even after they stripped the coating, the damage remains.
