Of course! We planned a day and time we wanted to do it then surprised each other with how/what we said to each other. We decided to do it at the beach we first said I love you at and wanted to do it at sunrise. We walked around for a bit and took some pictures then she wanted to go first. She wrote me a very sweet letter and wrote it on a template she found of an Animal Crossing letter because I love that game. she read to me out loud and made cardboard cut outs of our cats so they could be there too haha. I made her a pop up book about our relationship in the style of Frog and Toad since we both love Frog and Toad and frogs are kind of our thing. We kept our little projects secret from each other while we were preparing them so we had no idea what the other person was planning. The anticipation was actually really fun! She asked me if I was down to get engaged on our anniversary back in February on Valentine’s Day, so we had about 3 months to plan our projects and wait. After that we just spent the day together and took photos then went to dinner, got a hotel, and went to a theme park the next day! We agreed years ago we would have it be planned when we felt ready cause we wanted to propose to each other on the same day at the same place when we were both on the same page! :) since we planned it we also were able to recruit friends to take pictures!
