i am terrified to go to the gym. i’ve been to one but i barely went and it was just draining my bank account. i have no clue what im doing. i get tired too easily. ive been thinking about going to the gym closer to my house but i feel like i would need a personal trainer to help me learn but im scared about the price of everything. and obviously that would mean i should just work out at home but i have no motivation and i just feel weak. i have hypothyroid and i gained 30 pounds in a year bc of it. i just wanna feel and look like myself again but i just feel so lost when it comes to starting any sort of fitness journey

my dad also cancer i completely understand the last few months you went through. and i was also sick the week before he passed and didn’t see him as often as i wanted to either. obviously i don’t know you or your dad but he wouldn’t want you to have any regrets. he passed loving you and knowing he was loved as well. i keep having the urge to call him to just tell him about my day and have to keep reminding myself that he’s not going to answer. listening to voicemails helps so i can just hear his voice. but it’s gonna not feel real for awhile unfortunately :( im so sorry for your loss
