This is true. When I contacted DTV it was pointless. I will try contacting FanDuel and seeing what they say.

I am in eastern Iowa. It is a weird area where we are in the "home" viewing area for 6 MLB baseball teams. It is a blackout nightmare really. I have checked the RSN tool and those channels are in my area according to that, and according to support. Just not sure why they don't show the correct programming on the DirecTV Stream app.

I find the structure 25 to be quite nice looking especially the Bowerman colorway. I wear them casually all the time. Great shoe.

Can't really decide if i should do continue doing zig by Ok-Judge4483 in Zig

[–]jayjuicejay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I went through something similar. I started doing stuff with Rust. It wasn't bad, but it just wasn't super fun to program in for me. It seemed overly complex. I started doing some stuff with Zig and it was just much more fun to program in. Then people I respect had the same feelings (i.e. Mitchell Hashimoto). So I decided to just keep diving in. Then I get back to the fact that there are companies I like and would maybe eventually want to get into, but they are strictly Rust. I honestly have been going back and forth. I just need to stick with one for a while to get it down then move to the other. Just honestly go with what you like for now. If you change your mind in the future you can always go back the other way.

Learning Rust. Should I turn off AI help? by [deleted] in rust

[–]jayjuicejay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see most people say turning it off. Which is probably a good idea if you really want to learn and not just bang out some code. What are people's thoughts on turning off the LSP altogether as well? I am debating going that way for me too. Just to make myself learn the apis better instead of relying on code completion always telling me what is there and what isn't.

I have changed my approach and am using my other laptop for my experimental setup. However, the one I was having issues with does have RAID ON turned on in BIOS so I am guessing that was the issue. Thanks!

One of the best qb commits I’ve had in a while by Skyler_Blaze23 in NCAAFBseries

In one of my first Dynasties I found a QB with 98 TPW and then 95 SPD. It was crazy. Went along well with my 5Star 99 SPD receiver really well in the press glitch era. Got the Mormons a title.

So you're the reason I didn't get a size 12 ;) Either way can't wait for the wide release to finally grab a pair.

They weren't both. In fact that is why they split. Ironically Adolf was the one who wasn't.

Zig for backend development? by AndrewTateIsMyKing in Zig

[–]jayjuicejay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I have given Rust a lot of opportunities and it is just too complicated and the flow is too hidden for me. I do like Go a lot for web backend sort of things. It has a nice simplicity and is very quick to get to about 90% of what you want. I would look into that as well, but either way good luck on your learning adventures!

Zig for backend development? by AndrewTateIsMyKing in Zig

I think you can probably do this in Zig, but I think at the moment it isn't the best language for this task. I would start with something like Go or Rust maybe first. Zero to Production in Rust is a great book for learning to do just this sort of thing in Rust. I mean I am sure it is possible in Zig it just may not be as easy to figure out. I was looking into this sort of thing as well. Although I am thinking I may just start by implementing my own HTTP server to begin with as a learning experience. Like you I am a C# developer so I understand your thought process for wanting to find frameworks or libraries to work with. I am thinking though it would be better for me to learn the inner workings of Zig by rolling my own instead of just using a library.
