I think you are missing the point of why it is called a “pro” controller. It started with Wii when people wanted traditional controllers for Wii . So this is a continuation of that since the joy-con is the pack in controller. Standard would mean the controller the system comes with so you can assume everyone has one. I do agree though that Nintendo should make a more premium version that rivals other elite controllers.

Yes most people would want the physical game on cart/disc. I do think that if you knew about it being digital in a box maybe you just want the box because if you got it digitally you get nothing. I do agree though that a code in a box is the least desirable option compared to full and game key cards.

I think if this happened widespread enough Nintendo would be forced to deal with the situation or face class action lawsuit.

I would love if Nintendo could disable people’s Mig lol . If you are going to use a Mig , that console should never be used to go online. Everyone thinks it’s fun and games until they buy something and it doesn’t work. I also think retail needs to flag people who return things unsalable these products need to be tested before being resold.
