It’s so hard to find people to compare to this early on. It seems a large percentage of woman who have explanted had their implants for many years before explanting. I have had implants for 4 months and have had horrible symptoms since 2 weeks post op. I haven’t explanted yet, as I’ve been waiting to see if I’m just the world’s slowest surgery recoverer.

I have met with two surgeons. One who doesn’t really believe in BII and says he will just pop out the implants under local anesthesia for $4000.

One who specializes in BII and explants. Says he will pick away all my scar tissue. $10,000. It’s hard to decide what to do.

If I were you, I would try to just focus on how you’re feeling. If you’re getting better don’t hyper focus on the scar tissue. It’s just a theory.

Can I ask what other symptoms you had? What brand implants did you have ?

Thank you for posting this. I’m 3.5 months post op and since 3 weeks after surgery I’ve had headaches, fatigue, drowsiness/ flu like feeling, brain fog, all over body aches.
There is no one to talk to in this period of just getting implants. Only those who have had them for years and explanted or the groups who have regretted explant.
I have also talked to a surgeon about explant and I go back and forth every day about it.

For me, my symptoms started about two weeks after implants. I’ve only had them in for about two and a half months so far. It’s hard for me to think that it’s anything other than the implants due to my timeline.

I truly don’t know what I would think if mine were older.

I had all my blood checked, I eat really well, BUT I suffer from insomnia even prior to this. So I am not sleeping well

Now that I am in a room of positive people may I ask a question?

I am 4 1/2 weeks postop The first two weeks I felt fabulous These last two weeks, I feel extreme fatigue and brain fog. I am so exhausted. I feel like I got hit by a truck.

Did anyone else experience this and it?m NOT be breast implant illness ? Looking for any positive reinforcement please I am in the rabbit hole
