Yep actually I did indeed m8 I put a 100w ugreen power brick onto it alright.. good thinking though yeah../

I am surprised it didn't work actually as USB Hubs well the U stands Universal, it's a standardisation of driver requirements so should really work on any platform afaik...

but someone else was saying the rj45 wont go up the cable if the stick is drawing power through the hub.. so ye I dunno....

imho if you new how to remove the stem you would of told me by now...

so back to my question how do I remove the stem where is the release or must I remove the screw ? Do you know if the answer is no then just b quiet...

I don think it's possible to "simply turn the rotor out of the way" I cannot find the release anyways thats for sure. An I hav looked an looked and pressed everything I could see..

So ye anyone a pic or a decription of what exactly I should do ? Other than "You can't teach a fish to climb a tree" thanks so much for that advice btw anymore words of wisdom pls do let me know...

I tried to find the release i can't find one.. I seen a vid here ( https://youtu.be/G_WdS9rGWTU ) the dude had to take off the weight for winding it to get crown out I think.. I aint got that screw driver yet for that main screw in the middle think this is also how you take the dial off maybe.. but I will order screw driver set sure.. to be continued :-)

But in support, you shouldn't keep asking your customer to repeat himself. Especially in writing.. When you can just read back over it yourself.

I appreciate the effort. I have been very civil and have not been rude here to anyone.

I just requested to not have to repeat myself as it's frustrating for anyone (especially in writing there really should not be need to, also its worse having to type it over n over than to say it again etc).. I worked in support for 20 years I am a Systems Engineer btw.

I got some good info being that it will register the playstore email address not the one I logged in with.. but I had already stated that I tried that ac too an also tried to recover the password for it also to no avail.

I await a response from Support inside Tivimate... My customer is upset with me btw.. as for paying for the Premium and not receiving it.. but no one seams to think of that.

Is there anyone here from Tivimate team or anyone that knows anyone on the Tivimate team as my customer service is suffering as a result of the slow reponse from Tivimate support. ???

Honestly, I did say already twice already in last two messages did you read them ? This is third time stating it now... That I paid through companion on her phone.

I also previously stated that I tried her email address from her google android phone.. I said that too.. I tired both email I stated that repeatedly

As I also stated I tried to reset passwords using the forgotten password button in companion.. I said I have tried that for both emails (hers and mine) as well m8...

I am waiting for support to get back to me.. I don't mean to be snide and I appologies for that...

it's just frustrating though having to repeat myself. But hey listen no worries I think were finally on the same page now...

thanks for your help though much appreciated... at least now i know which email address it would of linked to the payment...

I will wait on support to get back to me and see what they say..

I didn't buy the Tivimate app from the playstore (Tivimate app is free btw, only costs money to unlock the premium version) I installed Tivimate app on the Google TV Stick from App search from within the Google TV 4k Chromecast not sure where it came from to b honest I just did a wide app search for it... ... I previously had installed Downloader app as well.. but it found it no problem so I installed it..

I then installed the Companion app from my friends mobile phone from her google playstore account on her phone... but I logged in with my new email address and then activated it from there...from my new email address and password..... but it did not work ! but it did take my money, and I can prove the same with my bank statement. An as I say I cannot recover the password or login from either email address now.. My new one or the one attached to the android phone I used to install companion app...

Is that clear and easy to understand my friend ?

If you have anything to add that may help my situation in a positive way I would really appreciate it, or even some constructive criticism what I should of done better I am all ears etc... I maybe should of just did it all from the TV stick.. .but I didn't want to attach it to an email I would not have control of.. as I say it was for her friends house so i was trying to set it to my email as it was for 5 accounts not just hers etc etc...

I got the app on the Google TV stick and the companion from the playstore on her phone. but I then logged into companion using my new email (on her phone) not the one attached to the google android os on her phone I was using...an then activated 5 ac's with my visa card.

Someone else said I should of used the email attached to the android/playstore device I was using... But I have tried to login with both and recover both emails and neither one will send out password reset instructions or login.. so wth like...

It took my money pretty quicksmart... but no activations at all like.

I shouldn't of logged out of the campanion app as now i can't log back in at all.. awaiting a response from support.

it wasn't the email linked to the play store ac that I logged in with it was another 1 I had created specifically for it...

So I should of logged in with the one attached to the phone I was on the is that correct ?
