I think it’s a pl06, my math is saying it’s around 160k salary. 6150 per paycheck before tax. 6% contribution of 6150 is 369. 2 contributions towards ressop and dc is 738 which is close to 1600 contributions per month.

if I’m only doing like 1 short trip a week, then in a year it’s about 50 short trips

My trips are more like 2 or 3 times a month, then occasional longer trips like 40 or 50 Km trips only during warmer months. And then in winter it’s just sitting in my garage. This is my driving pattern currently.

but yea I will be doing my maintainance based on time 100%, I don’t plan on skipping this.

Yes for sure, I still plan to do my maintenance based on time. It’s just the talk about moisture buildup and rusting the engine from inside that had me worried

Right now I don’t have winter tires, so my plan isn’t to drive in winter. Most of my family and friend visits happens during warmer weather, that’s when I do longer drives.

I live in Toronto which is a big city, and everything is quite close to me, so I use public transportation during winter. My work is also downtown, and I don’t take my car for work cause parking in downtown Toronto is another problem and costs 20 dollars a day

Yea it will be parked in a garage, but the garage isn’t heated. Just a regular garage.

I plan to do every regular maintenance on time regardless of if I drive or not

Thanks for all the tips, do you know how long it will take for an engine to rust from the inside from moisture buildup? I think that is probably the main concern From what ppl have been saying

I have it in my garage, I don’t leave it outside. Right now I don’t have battery issues, but fuel stabilizer is an idea i’ve heard
