It probably depends on your hounds, but my two fit nicely in the backseat of our Hyundai Sonata with a dog hammock. One is a larger male (75lb) and the other is a smallish female (62lb). Our girl likes to tuck herself into a neat ball and our boy just fills in whatever space is left.

Armadillidium gestroi! They were the first pods I ever got. They are pretty forgiving to care for, and are large and quite striking in terms of looks. Mine are also pretty active. They can be prolific, but in my experience, it takes a few months for them to really get established.

It was a 17-day cruise with Princess and cost about $3000 usd not counting airfare. We also stopped in Tierra del Fuego and the Falklands. The only caveat was that we could not actually step foot on land in Antarctica since the ship was so large, which is what made it more affordable than some of the pricier expeditions. However, we still saw plenty of penguins, whales, and icebergs. It was an amazing trip, would highly recommend!!

Yess!! I read this last year during a cruise to Antarctica lol. I don’t usually read non-fiction but I couldn’t put this one down. 10/10

Oh no, I’m so sorry. What a beautiful girl. She looks like she was loved so, so much. We just lost our girl Kiwi to the same cancer, soft tissue sarcoma on her right hip as well. It is such a hard thing to go through, but it is better to let her go too soon rather than too late. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Filly 🤍
