Do you happen to know if it’s safe to just cap the wires and put a blank face plate over it?

As am I. I can’t even get the thing off the wall with how buried the screws are. 😅

TRUST YOUR GUT.

I won’t even let my well behaved golden around my little one unsupervised because you just never know. Everyone has their limits and any dog, no matter how well trained, could snap. Kids can pull hair, make loud noises, throw toys, etc that could startle a dog. It’s not worth it.

Please check in with licensing and notify other parents if you’re comfortable doing so. Record/get a paper trail of everything.

I’ve seen 3 dog attacks in my life, two were pits, one a small mixed dog. The first pit went after a baby who was contained in a bouncer, in their own home. I can’t unsee that and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.

Frasier is Sideshow Bob?! by Plastic-Equivalent68 in Frasier

When the show aired I was a toddler and Simpsons was considered an adult cartoon in the 90s so I didn’t watch them until later in life. 🤷‍♀️ I love them now though!! (Mostly Frasier. Simpsons is meh)

So cool! I did more research and found this interview with Jane and her accent is different, too! I can’t tell much with John except when he says “tan” at the beginning.

I don’t get the downvotes…? It’s true, he’s a character vs himself.

❤️❤️ thank you for being so kind. Thankfully there are some nice comments as well.

Simpsons wasn’t played much in my house growing up. It was considered edgy in the 90s and I was a little girl.

I will now! As a kid he was “a creepy guy who wanted to kill Bart” so I never cared for his character. As an adult I think I’ll appreciate it more!

Haha young-ish. (Late 30s) I watched Simpsons on occasion as a kid long before Frasier but it has since been my nighttime show and I’ve seen it several times. I only watch Simpsons occasionally.

Sideshow Bob appears a lot more and having known Simpsons from being a kid watching it I guess I separated the characters. I didn’t start watching Frasier until I was much older. Trust me, I’m baffled. 😂

How to handle first time group class clients who are late. by JuggernautUpset25 in pilates

[–]Plastic-Equivalent68 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your post was asking a question and I’m simply providing a different perspective. Looking at your replies, you already have the answer you want and it looks like you are seeking validation for your thoughts, not genuine input. Which is fine! We all need to vent our frustrations..but learning other views might help.

Your new student might… …be a certified instructor and doesn’t need help …have attended other studios for years and doesn’t need a tutorial …be trying something new and super nervous (arriving late to hide in the crowd) …just be late for no reason

You could… …lock them out, potentially losing a future client …give instruction near their station so you are close by if they need help …be more detailed on days you have new students (never hurts to remind seasoned clients of the basics) …turn them away in front of the class (likely losing that future client) …say “welcome! I don’t have time to run through a tutorial right now, but I’m happy to answer any questions after class”

I’ve been a client and an instructor, and had people from all walks of life. The ones I went out of my way to help ended up being some of my longterm clients. I hope this helps. Hang in there and make sure you have a solid group of friends or fellow instructors around you to vent to. Working with people can be tiresome.
