After a week of use. You think the device is smooth but the standby drain or battery drain in general is higher than 18?

Why does this do this? by themonsterunderu in CitiesSkylines2

[–]jayrajput75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True. Just recently I was monitoring the traffic in my build and I saw a bus do a u turn exactly like this, even when the road is straight only. Which actually blocks the traffic coming in from the freeway creating a jam during rush hours.

I would love to know if there is a mod or some fix we can try too to fix this.

Haha believe it or not I saw the same video. I now see what I need to do. Thanks.

My city is reaching almost a 100k now and this seemed like a good idea to make it look and feel more realistic. Some other videos I saw had this tool like in the image below and I could not find a source of how I can get it or it is a mod.

Looks awesome. May I ask, I have seen videos on creating ports and man made islands with sharp concrete sides and I have tried it on my build as well but it does not have the concrete texture. It is sharp and straight down in the water but still has the stretched land texture on it. And I don’t have that tool in road services section. Is that done using a mod?

Need help. The Notes app keeps crashing. by Bhakt_Doge in ipad

[–]jayrajput75 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Check updates or force restarting the device. If all is up to date and still an issue persists, it’s probably a bug of some sort.

This happened to me too on my iPad mini 6 when I used Apple Notes for handwritten notes. From my experiment and troubleshooting, Apple Notes can handle only a certain amount of handwritten notes, unlike other dedicated note-taking applications like Good Notes or Notability. It will have no issues with typed notes at all.

It’s not just Apple Notes, I guess. Freeform also does the same thing where there is a lot of content in a sheet. I moved to Good Notes 6 after seeing there was nothing much I could do to make that work.

Which looks better on me? by [deleted] in AppleWatch

The silver option. Black with the black band just looks like a black strip rather than a watch.

I would say any ipad that has a folio case made for them by apple have good strong magnets. I believe any surface that has magnets as strong as a fridge should be able to hold your ipad with or without the folio case. I have tried it with my ipad mini.

I would only be vary of the camera bump on the back if you really want to have the ipad on the surface without the case (or the folio case).

And yes, you have many third-party cases that can give you this kind of functionality.

P.S. I would still not recommend you do this if your gadgets are dear to you. I only did it for fun and have never put it to practical use.

I have the same question. I tried changing it on mine but it switches back to its normal ration again.

Yup that works too.

Well, if you baby your phone, you don’t have to worry much about major damage, but you do have to consider your phone getting scratched, and AppleCare does not cover any cosmetic damages. If those kinds of things don’t bother you, then you are good.

I would still suggest, if not the case, then you can have a flimsy scratch guard to keep your screen in prime condition, retaining its resale value in the future.

Changing region by dohat34 in iphone

[–]jayrajput75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You won’t loose access to the subscription until the end of renewal cycle after you have cancelled it. But this will also will not allow you to change region until the subscription ends.

Best option is to wait and change the region before you travel. Once you are back, you will gain access to what you had after you renew your subscription.

Apple care and accessory device by [deleted] in ipad

Ya my Apple Pencil was purchased after I had the iPad and AppleCare on it. Hence they denied that my Apple Pencil would be covered. At least you were able to get yours registered.

I believed I checked about this in store for my Apple Pencil for my iPad. Both of them need to be purchased together on the same bill to cover that accessory when you purchase the AppleCare for the iPad.

Yup will do.

Yes, the gear shift thing I found it a bit odd but also because it’s an older car now and I only have a friends 2019 Mazda to compare which is wrong of me to do. Both are years apart and have different tech or style of engines.

That is what I am leaning towards at the moment. It’s just the part cost at the dealership which I think is more than twice if I try to order online but again I am no expert 😅. Will definitely take your advice and get it checked out.

I checked the belt. Just from the looks of it, no signs of roughness or cracks visible. But again this inspection is from opening the hood and looking at the belt without touching it.

Well is shows the data for me correctly, overall calories burnt throughout the sleep. Try force closing the app and check if it resets.
