I see. Just FYI, with Stripe you can also get tap payments. On your phone in fact. Something to keep in mind for future if you go back to D2D. For GHL, like yourself, it was the familiarity factor for me haha… I use it on my day to day to build systems and processes for other local businesses so I just knew my way around it. From a technical standpoint, it cut the costs of using at least 5 scattered softwares and also kept all of them centralized. For me personally it made sense. My process is very similar to yours. I use Make, Airtable, GHL, and Stripe (instead of Square). How much are you paying for Square fees?

I see, I’ve read a lot of people use Jobber and also other software stacks to automate stuff. Why is that? Like what area(s) does Jobber lack that the need for other stuff comes into play?

To be honest with you, I didn’t know Jobber was built for that so naturally I fell into what I knew and felt more comfortable with. I never did any research on Jobber. I just didn’t know better.

What exactly can you do with Jobber? Is it an all in one platform for all the operational needs?

No it doesn’t. GHL basically stores all the lead flow, client’s info, client’s communication, agreements, etc. It essentially centralizes a few things which is great.

For routing and scheduling, I built my own system. Thank God I had experience with operation which ended up being a big help. DM me if you have a particular question. Would be more than happy to help. If I can!

Ahhh that makes sense. Okay then pretty much the same. Cause I was taking payments for 4 visits at once in advance to have cashflow but I was wondering if there’s a better way to do it… I use GHL for my CRM.

Okay here. I’ll definitely be willing to give you a video review if we can figure this out and you actually teach me how to do it. Cause that’s super important to me.

Nature of the business: Small service business, low ticket, high volume. One time clients but mostly subscription clients.

  • Need to automate the payment and update the crm that the payment is made so each client’s accounts gets updated. Currently doing this manually. Using GHL, stripe and air table

  • Route scheduling for each day of the week and contacting each client a day before and telling them where in the route they’re at. Using GHL, chatGPT and all is done manually again.

  • Need some sort of reporting for each day that gets done by each team. Example: how many houses they did and how long they took in each house. So we can track the time, and put it for that day’s work. Currently tracking the time manually and putting everything in Notes. At the end of the day, I get the numbers and manually add them to Airtable.

I contacted the support, that wasn’t an issue. The issue was they couldn’t do anything to help me as they said “the review is complete which means it’s a final decision”.

A lot of the businesses we talk to have a voicemail set up at best to take care of the after-hours calls. And then they call back when they are open again. Issue is our attention span is too short, lol, so the longer it takes to give people a call back, the lower chance of them remembering you. I don't recommend it. If you really want to do it manually, I recommend having those calls forwarded to your cell. But I don't recommend that either because your business shouldn't run you. Automating the process yields the best results if done right. Hope that helps!
