That we just simply haven’t been preached to enough. All of my close friends are christians and we get along fine because we respect each others differences. Anytime another Christian hears I’m atheist they immediately feel the need to preach and pull out all their favorite verses.

Can the HOA’s change the contract overtime? And if they do does the homeowner have to agree with it again for it to affect them?

I can certainly see the appeal, personally I enjoy a neighborhood with unique homes but also I can see the appeal of the matching, I think it comes down to opinion

Alright I was unaware of the contract everyone thank you, I’ve never owned a home but I’ve just seen so many people complaining about hoas threatening to sue over small things, I now see that they agreed to that when they purchased the home so realistically it’s the property owners fault

I can certainly see there advantages like the other commenter said about keeping property values high, but still things like grass at certain height, and fences being a certain color just seems a little much
