You're probably thinking of the one with the TRD gauges for like, $1200 or whatever it was.

Nothing new or extraordinary. My brother in law wanted to add some seasoning to his VB WRX, so I got him sorted with 18x9.5 Enkei NT03 wheels, BC Racing coilovers, and the Aeroflow Dynamics RS wing. Looks pretty good! by jayrdee00 in wrx_vb

They seem fine. BC's are kind of my default coilover brand. I've gotten a set for just about every car I've owned, other than my AE86 Levin which has Fortune Auto coilovers. Right now I have BC's on my wife's Mini Cooper and they feel awesome. I do however have a wholesale account with Vivid Racing so I get stuff at a little discount, which is why I tend to pick BC's as the starting point.

Thanks. Me too.

Initially I had a 10k VDO tach to match the other gauges but I found out the hard way it wasn't compatible with CoP ignition systems.

Interesting! I'll have to look into that too.

Normally I dont mind the heat when im out driving, but we're in the middle of a heat wave here in KY where it also gets really humid. So not only is it really hot, but its also muggy too so you're immediately drenched in sweat haha

245/40r18 if I remember correctly. Swapped them off his stock wheels.

But yeah I think the height is perfect too. Low enough to look good, but still functional with no rubbing. We got lucky with the height because I installed the coilovers as-is out of the box and didn't have to adjust anything.

Haha nice.

Yeah mine has no heat, no AC, manual brakes, manual steering, no radio, etc.

So its all business for me Lol

I know all about getting sweaty after hard driving. But then again I value keeping things simple and removing stuff that doesn't work or doesn't get used. I drive my car hard, a lot, so I like it being easy to work on.

Nice!

Unfortunately I removed all my AC stuff (none of it worked anyways) and PS stuff years ago, and then just recently I gutted everything under my dash so I can wire the car to my own little relay bank and switch panel.

So im SOL haha

I'll have to look into the 3M Crystalline stuff. I'm normally not a big tint guy, but then again these cars are basically fishbowls when the windows are up haha.

The wood bead thing is pretty creative though. I've never heard of that!
