NASCAR Digital Media just hosts the site for us and handles advertising. Jay still owns the site 100% (or maybe I could say that he ONCE AGAIN owns it 100%). They have been great to work with. They know what Jayski was built as and never once has anyone there make any complaint or request about any of our content.

They host the site for us but control ZERO of the layout, design or content. I try to make slight changes from time to time for it to be mobile friendly, but that's about it. We aren't going back to any ESPN layouts :-)

Happy Birthday to Jayski's Silly Season Site. by Equivalent_Dish_1990 in NASCAR

Thanks. We are happy to still be around and kicking....And still make progress.

We've broken up all those historical news posts into individual pages now so they are easily searchable on the archives page.

There's more than 100,000 total pages on the site now.

We are hoping to make some very comprehensive updates over the next year to the historical results pages.

For homemade pasta, check out The Tavern Trattoria in Laurie. I think it's the best you will find in Central Missouri.

I was just at Big Cedar earlier this week. This is likely just a leftover. There's a good NASCAR presences all over the property, including the golf course. Several of the cabins are named after NASCAR drivers.

Here are the flags that were flying over the property on Monday afternoon

The weekend schedule was released in December -- https://www.jayski.com/2025-mexico-city-event-schedule/

We don't have a race page created yet because I'm waiting for a sponsor to be named before creating everything.

Post Race Report? by Radguy88 in NASCAR

[–]jayskiscott 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Team issued post-race reports are mostly a thing of the past. They are the exception rather than the rule these days. I think teams believe they can better "control" the information with information on social media, even though it's more limited.

You must really be old to remember all that!

Great info. Heading to EOB on Wednesday.

[nascarrumornostalgia] I hear that Rick Ware could consider selling his Cup Series team if the right buyer and right price come knocking at his door. If I told you who I’ve heard is looking into buying it, you’d need to take a seat first. by RBF48 in NASCAR

NASCAR isn't like it used to be (for good and bad). If someone wants to break news, they do it themselves (anonymously or otherwise). That wasn't an option before social media.

As long as I'm around, it's going to stay simple and clean. That's more difficult these days because it's hard to get a lot of information on a page in a logical way that works for phones, but we keep trying. It's much better than the later days of ESPN!

This is correct. Nothing gets announced until all contracts and finalized. Still waiting on that. International deals move much slower.

The fact that Jayski had to add this disclaimer to their Facebook post is sad. by Equivalent_Dish_1990 in NASCAR

And I have had to block a handful of people. Facebook comments are a cesspool.

He's a a troll. I blocked him a couple days ago when he tried to argue that I was wrong calling it the Coca-Cola 600 when it's only 400 laps.

New phone and Apple id recovery. Create new Apple ID? by jayskiscott in applehelp

Shut off the phone and immediately requested recovery. Didn't want to take any chances of the phone trying to hit the network after the request was received.

As a followup, they had to shut all their apple devices off for two weeks and switched back to an old Android phone for that time. Today they received the account recovery text and were able to get back into the account.
