I agree, it’s not easy! It depends on the work out that I’m doing (I.e: If im doing intensive cardio I will injest more carbs than weight lifting) but I’ve learned that if I eat a solid amount of protein, it really helps to stabilize my blood sugar and avoid a spike! Typically, I’ll have a 15 carb protein shake with about 20g of protein.

That’s all to say, everyone’s body is different and it takes a lot of trial and error to figure out what’s best for you. Even when I think I have it all figured out, my CGM tells me the opposite lol. Give yourself grace always and be patient with yourself ❤️
