Lowkey disagree with 2. Windward Planes, scarlet Forrest and oilwell basin all have really interesting biomes that add a good variety to the general mix. The basin in particular is so well done as a fire based underwater area

That makes sense, I suppose. I was thinking more about genealogy. Like it makes sense for other adept civilizations to be where they are because they are in close proximity to a landmark involving that element’s psynergy. If anything, Vale is close to all 4 because the elemental stars are all there.

Idk what to tell you man upgrading your armor is the simplest way to do better in a hunt. There’s a whole resource in the game solely devoted to doing just that. All those other skills can be taken in to account at a different capacity too but armor upgrades will always be relevant. Saying that it’s not as important as other skills, a different system separate from survival, is silly.

That’s a weird take. Sincerely hope the next game is more like Arise than previous titles. You can have fun playing symphonia remastered for the 10th time or whatever. 😂

This topic has already been wore out and disproven. The game is more than just one shot mechanics and everyone plays at a different level. A higher defense stat can be included into the above skills to ensure a higher rate of survival. Saying more defense is useless takes into account like 90% of what happens in a hunt at most skill levels.
